Overall: SDSH is an amazing company to do business with. However, I would not recommend staying at Del Rio. First, ~$900 a month is too expensive for a shared room. You essentially pay a premium for the pool, but one of the two pools has been broken for the entirety of my 6 month stay. Second, the traffic is so noisy that it is impossible to effectively sleep and study. For instance, when I wear my Bose QC35 noise canceling headphones while doing homework, I can still hear traffic outside even with the windows closed. There is a group of people who rev their modified street racing cars which makes the complex sound like a racetrack. “Security” is a joke and clearly pays them no mind. Third, if you own a car you will have to pay a $25 per month parking fee on top of your rent. However, you will pay this and rarely have a parking spot near your unit. I always take my skateboard with me to ride to my car... that should give you an idea of how far you will have to walk. I believe that if you are forced to pay for parking you should be given an assigned spot, but this is not the case at Del Rio. Lastly, there is no grocery shopping within walking distance. There is a Costco nearby, but you will not have enough space in the cupboards and refrigerator to be storing bulk food. The pros: -Having a washer and dryer in unit is a real luxury although this is 2019 not 1919. -The internet is ridiculously fast. -The trolley runs right to the edge of the complex which is a nice way to ensure you won’t be tempted to drink and drive after enjoying the Gaslamp district. Plus, it’s cheaper than ride-sharing.

Overall: Move in and booking was fast and easy. I did not need to search too hard.
Pros: It was cheap
Cons: The application to find roomates did not actually help me find roomates that were similar in lifestyle. They were not clean people and used marijuana constantly.

Overall: my host was very helpful and she guided me pretty good in order to have a smooth move in the apartment. the room was pretty good and it had all the necessary utensils and facilities.

Overall: I felt the room was in a great location. The trolley being right in the backyard was very useful as it allows you access to endless possibilities around the city. The housing was nice and spacious.
Pros: Access to trolley and the comfort.

Overall: RoomChazer helped me get in and the neighborhood was as I expected, and roommates were wholesome. It was fun
Pros: The pool & grill area

Overall: Chris was super nice and helpful, and the room is great, better than a dorm. Careful though cause most of these rooms are booked and the site doesn't show a lot of the tenants.
Pros: The kitchen was great, loved the Keurig, couch is great, love the balcony, the location is good if you're traveling all over the city. Parking most of the time is super convenient. Cleaning lady is nice.
Cons: Maybe update the site quicker in terms of roommate availablity. I was put in Mission Valley even though I saw availability in PB. Packages are tricky too, could use some info on those.

Overall: RoomChazer was incredibly helpful throughout every single detail of me being with them, from moving in to renewing and now moving out. I was very comfortable and relaxed with my stay and would one hundred percent recommend. I want to specifically thank Chris with all the aid she provided for me as well.
Pros: It was a great location and I had easy access to everything. Very convenient. The apartments themselves were quite nice and the community welcoming.
Cons: Not much. In my overall experience I did have a great time and would like to be back granted the circumstances are different around the control over the pandemic and such.

Overall: Christine was great! She was super helpful as I had to find a spot to live for my rotation within weeks! I told her my situation as I needed to study for boards during this rotation and she found me the perfect quiet roommates.
Pros: Quiet, safe, beautiful location. Only downfall was COVID making it so the pool and gym was by appointment only. I would have loved to use the poolside to study at every day post work and on the weekends.

Overall: She was amazing
Pros: The quietness
Cons: Nothing

Overall: Overall, my experience with using RoomChazer has been amazing. I truly enjoyed my stay at the apartment I was placed. The amenities were great, including the dishwasher, washer, and dryer. The area was also great including being so close to public transportation it's outside the gate. The pool and gym were great to have and made the time spent in the summer amazing.

Overall: My apartment was originally listed as having an all female apartment, but it wasn't until I booked the AirBnB that I learned males would also be my roommates. The cost of rent is a bit outrageous considering a shared bedroom is close to $900. The host sent my roommates and I periodic checkups on when our cleaning would be, but wasn't available to contact on the weekends. I wasn't able to get out of my original contract to accommodate my needs so I did all the necessary steps yet nothing worked. Then the host stated they found someone to take over my room, but never followed through or updated me with the status of that person.
Pros: It's in a safe area and the gym, pool, and jacuzzi are very convenient when you don't want to drive to the beach on a hot day.
Cons: Be available on the weekends and if any issues present themselves before more residents move in, fix them instead of letting the problem linger.

Overall: Was easy for me but Chris help me a lot during the beginning
Pros: entorno de la ubicación
Cons: Bilingüe skills

2021-08-10

Overall: My host Chris was great. However, the apartment that I was given was not like the one described. We were assigned a specific unit- which was then switched around 2 more times. We were given an old and rundown unit. We were paying the same amount as the others living here, but with a worse apartment. Very disappointed.
Pros: Being close to so many restaurants and stores.
Cons: Replying to us quicker.

2022-07-17

Overall: While being with roomchazer, payments were easy to make, and get in contact with the landlord was too difficult, however, we got scammed out of the original newer apartment we were supposed to have and on the same day of our move-in, our apartment number changed which meant we were now in an older apartment. The walls and floors were dirty, the nails stuck of from carpets even when I had it "fixed", my phone was stolen from house-keeping and they could "do nothing" about it.
Pros: I loved the location.
Cons: Faster responses.

2022-07-17

Overall: I really enjoyed my experience with roomchazer! I met some of my best friends through roomchazer. My apartment was such a nice area, it felt very safe, and it was so close to all of the fun areas. Not to mention the apartment complex's amenities were amazing, the pool, gym, and package room were all so nice.
Pros: I loved how close the place was to all of the fun destinations. I was 15 minutes away from just about anywhere I could've possibly wanted to go!
