Overall: The housing listing images were not the same as how the house actually looked. Nonetheless, it was a good area to live in with decent housemates. The workers at this company are very active and kind in fixing problems. I believe my stay here could’ve been better with choosing the right location. Images for all house listings should be updated as well.
Pros: It was a good location.
Cons: By updating images and information about each listing actively and giving an accurate floor plan.

Overall: It was good. Close to the avenue. It didn’t have laundry in site but there was one a block away. Perfect location in the middle of grand and Garnett avenue. There’s a broken yolk coffee and buzz coffee too.
Pros: There where supermarkets, restaurants and everything close.
Cons: Put more cleaning supplies

Overall: The website is very confusing, so I always had a hard time figuring out where to log in, so payment was complicated.

Overall: Everything went very smoothly from the first step of finding the place to the step of moving out. It was a great place to live!
Pros: I really liked it, simple and close to the beach!
Cons: Remodel interior, shower area is very molded.

Overall: The roomchazer staff was there for me through every mishap that came my way while staying in this apartment. I couldn’t be more great full for their attentiveness.
Pros: Having roomchazer pay most of our utilities and our furniture was a load off. As someone who bounces back and fourth from Indiana to California, lugging furnishes is not an option for me.
Cons: I would say better roommate matching, and more thorough cleaning before new roommates move in. There were cockroaches when I moved in and the kitchen was filthy. My mom even paid a cleaning crew to come take care of it. We were late reimbursed by roomchazer. Maybe there could be a quiz that each roommate can take to help the matching process a bit more.

Overall: The whole moving-in process was simple and smooth, everything in the house was exactly as I expected it. Chris, my advisor, has always been kind and helpful, and the roommates were great. I’m sad to leave Pacific Beach! I’ll definitely contact RoomChazer again in case of need. :)

Overall: The booking and moving in were very easy. The roommates were super nice! The place itself is fine for the price. However, it is a bit run down and the carpet is dirty so it could use some renovation and better furniture. I saw other nicer places from the same platform for a bit higher rents. PB is generally a great place to live but don't expect the apartment to be very close to the beach and bars (it's 25 - 30 min walking distance).

Overall: When I moved in the place was a bit dirty but the problems got fixed and the people from RoomChazer did their best to fix everything.
Pros: That it was close to the beach and had a small balcony
Cons: The bathroom and the kitchen are in a terrible old condition, that should be fixed.

Overall: My old roommate said the rent was increased by $200 for the shared room, and I don't think $800 for a shared room is a good value. The heater does not work, there is mold in the bathroom that was painted over, and the plumbing has still not been fixed months after I asked for it (we called three plumbers to fix a broken t trap, and one of them refused to take the blame because the pipes were too old). the down stars neighbor hits our floors and tried to open our screen door once. They charged me extra once and I had to contact them to correct their error. They'll message you every day if they need something from you. I was informed from my old roomate (that left early) that the owner of the place doesnt even know who roomchazer is only the new landlord and chris

Overall: My stay at RoomChazer in San Diego was a nightmare. Maintenance issues took over a week to resolve, with blame unfairly placed on me. Safety concerns arose from a disruptive, allegedly evicted neighbor who made threats, such as blowing up the gas outside, aswell as trying to break in one night. Constant noise disturbances, poor living conditions (black mould) and unhelpful communication with RoomChazer make it an accommodation I strongly advise against. I would NOT book with them again.

Overall: I had a really good time in this apartment. I got really lucky with my roommates in the beginning. Be aware that the aparment is kind of old and used but the location close to the beach and shops, cafés and bars makes up for it. Rachel from RoomChazer was helpful with our needs. Overall I had a great time!
