Overall: I had an amazing stay with Chris and the team who was very flexible with my situation. I really appreciated the attention to detail and communication during move in/out and during my stay. The neighborhood was perfect as a UCSD student and would recommend for fellow students!
Pros: The amenities and location were perfect.

Overall: I had a great experience with Roomchazer! I was greatly struggling to find off campus housing as the university I attend denied me housing and most landlords denied me as well given I was a student. The process was very smooth, easy, and a lifesaver. The place was just as expected, spacious, and in a very safe neighborhood.
Pros: The place was very close to bus stops, campus, and grocery stores, so location was great.
Cons: Just communication would sometimes be last second, for example, when cleaning announcements would be made.

Overall: The apartment was exactly as expected, in the perfect location for a UCSD student down the road from campus and across the road from Ralph's and Trader Joe's. The host was very helpful during the move-in process, and had exceptional communication regarding cleaning and general apartment maintenance throughout the year.

Overall: Roomchazer was very helpful and the apartment was great! It was in the perfect location if you attend UCSD. I was able to walk to the bus stop to take the 202 onto campus for a less than a 5-minute bus ride to campus. I also walked for groceries. I had never had a problem with finding street parking also. Honestly one of the best places I have ever lived in San Diego.
Pros: I loved the location! Easy to get to campus and get groceries. Also always street parking.
Cons: Nothing! I really like the apartment and found everything satisfactory.

Overall: RoomChazer had my back when coming for a summer internship at UCSD from Europe. Finding housing would be very difficult otherwise and I am incredibly thankful for the service which RoomChazer provides. The whole process was very smooth, Chris helped me to find the perfect apartment for me and always answered any of my questions. We had a plumbing problem in the apartment which was solved as soon as possible. Otherwise the apartment is in great shape, it's simple, but there is everything you need and it's very clean and well-kept. The neighbourhood is great, I could go for a run at 10PM, very safe and clean. Groceries and other shops are right across the street, trolley and buses to UCSD and downtown are an 8 minute walk. There is a community pool, gym and laundry room which was cheap and easy to use. I highly reccomend Roomchazer and the apartment.
Pros: The location - close to the shops and public transport. The place was in great shape besides the plumbing problem.
Cons: The kitchen could be equipped a little better. I suppose if the apartment is inhabited by people who stay longer and are from the U.S., they bring their own equipment, but from me coming with nothing, it was really very basic. I could use more cutting knives, better pots and pans, etc. But it was okay. And honestly the cleaning lady could maybe do a better job, many surfaces were never wiped and she skipped my bathroom entirely the last time.

Overall: Roomchazer helped me find an affordble place to live, with good roommates in my La Jolla apartment. The area is really nice and easily walkable.
Pros: I liked the location as well as the actual apartment itself.
Cons: I think communication between multiple hosts and roommates could be improved.

Overall: RoomChazer was very helpful. They always replied very quick after setting up an online account with them and sending them all the required information. The place was exactly like on the pictures. They even provided a very helpful packing list. I was very happy with my flat mates. We were all UCSD students and the place had the perfect location right behind the shops and the trolley station and super close to UCSD.
Pros: Location, size, living room, patio, kitchen
Cons: Allowing credit card payment would be so much easier for everyone who doesn't have an American bank account. Adding the utility bill to the monthly payment for not having to transfer money twice in one month.

Overall: It was a really easy process, especially in a really stressful housing situation. Roomchazer helped me find a place and remained in contact throughout all the steps. Overall, I had a pleasant stay.
Pros: I felt at ease contacting the housing advisor about things concerning the apartment.
Cons: Communication wasn't as on point as last year's. It would take days to get a response or sometimes no response at all. We had a lot of things not functioning in the apartment and wouldn't get helpful feedback about how to fix things.

Pros: I loved the area, and the beauty of the complex, things were made to be well-kept and convenient. I liked that staying in close communication with Roomchazer was easy.
Cons: I think that as far as hosting there aren't any major concerns I have.

Overall: I am glad there was an accommodation-booking website such as RoomChazer for me to find a place in San Diego. However, the interaction was all remote. I have never met my hosts in person and do not feel as welcome to the place as I would have liked. The place is tidy and the neighbourhood is relatively peaceful. Of course, there are always issues that come up when you live with roommates, and there is no guarantee that you will get along well with roommates. However, one of the roommates that was assigned was extremely difficult to get along with and disrespectful. It was a very traumatizing experience. I don't feel like the place placed its residents as its top priority. Overall my experience could have been better.
Pros: Scenery, fitness room.
Cons: There is a lot of room for improvement - faster response times when residents are being abused or mistreated, meet the residents in person at the beginning and throughout their stay to make them feel welcome, put residents as their priority.

Overall: It was a pretty easy process to book my stay and I appreciate the service as a college student needing a place to live. RoomChazer was helpful in deciding what dates worked best for me, helped with my lease take-over, and had a kind team who helped myself and the roommates when needed. The housing advisor could improve on communicating more efficiently. Also wish the mold issue did not persist for a year and half until a solution was found as it was a major health hazard.
Pros: I loved its proximity to campus. Very convenient as it was under a mile to campus, easy to access by bus or walk down the street, and close to grocery and shopping centers. The place being furnished and close to the street made it much more preferable to other apartment options in the area. The cleaning lady/inspector was also super sweet and amazing to have!
Cons: I wish communication was clearer and more efficient. Myself and the roommates would sometimes ask the housing advisor for something through text, and yet would not receive a response for days or at odd hours late at night (understanding the advisors should be accessible from Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm). We'd sometimes be told things extremely last minute/the night before or not be informed at all, such as some instances when the plumber or handyman would arrive at our door and claim to be scheduled for something at our apartment though nothing was communicated to us. We had a long-term mold issue. While we constantly informed RoomChazer of the hazardous issues, barely anything was done to combat this and we were asked to clean the mold ourselves for nearly a year and a half. Also, as much as I appreciate the replacement of flooring, I wish it was not worked on while we were still living at the apartment.

Overall: Yes, I definitely feel like RoomChazer made enabled me to find housing in an easier, more secure and faster way.
Pros: Being very close to campus is definitely the biggest pro of this accommodation. There is a bus stop next to the housing complex and UCSD is 2 stops away! Also being close to grocery stores is very conventient.
Cons: The house gets very humid and being on the ground floor meant that the people walking by could look inside the apartment.
