The bus is right there too and takes you to Mesa college in 22 minutes. USD is a 5-minute walk!

Overall: Both RoomChazer and my host helped the booking process run smoothly. Starting from the booking to the moving in, I was able to move in pretty fast and smoothly. My host made the process easy because she always remained in contact through the process and was always available to answer any questions that I had. The apartment was what I expected and had everything that was needed for me to stay for the time period that I did. The neighborhood is a pretty good and safe one and I never had any issues during my stay in the apartment. Also it is a plus that the location to so close to everything, which of course is a major plus!
Pros: While staying in the apartment I loved how close the apartment was to everything that I needed to get to.

Overall: Everything went really smoothly and RoomChazer always supported me whenever I needed them! Would 100% stay with them again!
Pros: It was the perfect location for me as a USD student without a car, super clean and I really appreciated having my own bathroom!
Cons: It was a great experience overall, not much room for improvement! The only thing is that the cleaners were not coming for a while at the beginning of the year but I understand that this was related to covid and other issues that were not in the hands of RoomChazer.

Overall: Chris was super awesome with the whole process. The place was relatively clean, my only issue was the lack of parking.
Pros: I really like the common shared spaces, felt super homey!
Cons: There were a lot of issues with bugs that i resolved with sprays etc.

Overall: The accomodation was as expected and for the most part as described. It is near a major university and despite being so it is pretty quiet. I loved that the place came furnished with kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies (i.e. vacuum, broom, mop), etc. However, I think it would be appropriate to mention on the listing that parking is quite an issue for this location. 1. Finding parking after about 8pm is extremely difficult and 2. Your car will get scratched because you might at one point have to park on a hill. There are many other tenants that smoke outside so if you have your window open you'll smell it.
Cons: Would be nice to add a bath mat for when you step out since the place is supposed to be furnished. Doesn't make sense for us to have to buy. Better communication, I had some weird bugs in my room coming up once it started getting hot and emailed Chriss about it. Asking her if anything could be done, though she did respond I would have expected faster communication since a bug problem is quite an uncomfortable nuisance. I was told she'd see if carpet cleaning could be done sooner (before i moved out) and have not heard back about it so it obviously was not taken seriously. I had to bug bomb my room myself because communication was slow. I would have expected a call or something to get it sorted quicker.

Overall: The communication and availability of those in charge of our stay was impeccable. The apartment meets expectations, but it could be cleaner and better cared for, since upon arrival we had to claim some repairs and clean thoroughly.

Overall: Rachel, my host was really helpful and she was always ready to help me with any questions or issues. Besides that, I believe most of the experience was extremely disappointing. The place didn't look like the pictures, it was really old, small and nothing to what we were expecting. You don't get anything in the apartment, you have to buy from bedding to everything in the kitchen. The payments have a huge interest rate if you don't have a US bank account (for international students, this is a huge issue and the rent highly increases). We had a gas leak that no one helped us to coordinate and even if it was extremely dangerous, no one compensated us or even apologized for the danger hazard. We also had several termites, ants during our stay. Even if the place is clean, it is so old that it is uncomfortable and the neighborhood is also not the best. Overall experience was disappointing, wouldn't recommend because if you go on Facebook you can easily find better places with just a tiny bit of more effort than what Roomchazer allegedly helps you avoid.
Pros: It was close from school and I could walk there.
Cons: Rachel was amazing. Everything else was disappointing.

Overall: RoomChazer did a great job for making the move in process easy and fast for me.
Pros: Location was nice and bedroom and bathroom was in great condition.
Cons: Roommate review... One of my roommates was extremely loud and the other roommate and I had to tell him to quiet down but he never did. He made my stay at this apartment go down from a 5 to a 3.

Overall: The stay overall was fine aside from when things in the apartment broke or burned out. We had to wait almost two weeks to get the garbage disposal repaired. Had multiple lightbulbs go out, one of which never got replaced because they gave me the wrong bulb for the master bathroom. They were quick to fix the tv unit and answer any questions which was a positive. However, they also raised our rent after all three members paid the whole 6-month term upfront. The parking is also terrible, especially at night if there is more than one person with a car living in the unit.
Pros: The location was convenient for my school and sports.
Cons: The ammenities are rundown and out of date, the master shower curtain is to short and splashes on the floor if it is not below shoulder level. The fan in the master bathroom does a poor job at venting heat/steam and so had mold on several occasions which I dealt with myself.

Overall: RoomChazers was the best pick for my semester abroad here in San Diego. As an international student, it was hard to find a good affordable option for around 5 months. My apartment had a great location, and it was cheap considering the other places I looked at. They matched me perfectly with my roommates, we all had a great time together and will stay in touch in the future. It was an older apartment which meant it needed a little maintenance. In the beginning, back in August, it took a little bit for them to fix it but they did and towards the end, it was all really quick. Whenever I needed something, they answered. All and all I 100% recommend looking for a room with RoomChazers, since it is also very useful for students who can only stay for one semester.
Pros: Size and location, and that it was safe. Our neighbor were really nice. I also loved my roommates.
Cons: Updating the blinds and adding AC during the summer.

Overall: The location of the apartment was impeccable! The neighbourhood and the neighbours were friendly and calm. The apartment itself was quite old and there were many things not working when I moved in (my blinds were broken, mattress had a hole, the fan was not working). We contacted Roomchazer and the thignsbwere fixed, however it took some time for maintenance to show up.
Pros: I got along very well with my roommates, which was probably the best thing about the apartment.
Cons: I think that more things need to be fixed. A lot of the amendities were old and about to break. Also, I do not understand why the previous roommates cannot leave anything behind. I would have liked there to be at least a blanket and some sheets, or some oils and spices in the kitchen.

Overall: The booking was easy and Rachel was very helpfull. We got the help we wanted withg various things very fast - however the apartment in itself was very bad.
Pros: Safe location.
Cons: Almost everything was dirty, and did not get cleaned well enough when we had cleaning. The furniture was bad = the sofa was hard and hadn't been cleaned. The dinner table and the chairs were metal and uncomfortable. It was very clear that nothing had been invested into the apartment. The beds were hard and squeaky. The TV's worked fine. The apartment was cold. The small plastic folders that ran along the curtains were terrible quality. Overall the apartment was very bad.
