pretty good place, very good location, cons: unit a bit old
Chris and Rachel are amazing, they helped me with everything during my stay though I think the communication can improve since they were occasions when my roommates and I had to wait for a response for a whole day. Besides that everything else was amazing.

I could spend my life in the U.S. really comfortably thanks to RoomChazer.
Yes, the lower the price, but even $1055 a month is a big help for students.
I was very satisfied! Communication was smooth, and they were cooperative.

Yes, it is an affordable account in a nice neighbourhood for students. Appreciate it
Awfull experience, wouldn't recommend at all this apartment to anyone.
It was good for short term staying

Yes
RommChazer was understanding about my problems in the apartment, but I was still disappointed with the apartment because it was expensive and very dirty.
There are now even more hoops to jump through than there were in 2024. It's more trouble than it's worth now, especially with the extra fees.

Great stay
Overall, the experience was satisfactory, and we received assistance whenever needed.
This is a great house for SDSU students. It’s close to the station, and it takes about 15 minutes to get to SDSU. The pool and gym are amazing. There are places like IKEA, Starbucks, IHOP, and Costco nearby. I had a wonderful experience living here.
Helped me with my contract with no issue, and gave me support and a room on a short notice when I was super stressed. Also had the pleasure of meeting great roommates which have become friends for life.
Overall, my experience with RoomChazer was great. It truly lived up to its goal of making housing easier and more flexible for college students. From the booking process to moving in, everything was streamlined and stress-free.

Relativement bien
Overall, my experience with roomchazer was positive.
I've lived in this apartment for almost a year and a half. It has the essentials for living here, with the main luxury of the location relative to the beach. Be prepared for the summer with it getting hot and no AC available. Maintenance can take some time for issues, but they eventually solve them. The roommates can be hit or miss, but at least it's only for a semester-long lease.

There is significant room for improvement, particularly in problem management.
All in all I was very happy to stay with RoomChazer. Everything worked out pretty well and Rachel was also very helpful with questions. It was well organized and things did work out well. The apartment itself is not huge but has everything you need. The pool and jacuzzi were a big plus for this location.
Pretty good
I really like the effort you put in to find a place for me thanks!
Overall, the house and experiece was good, but I have friends that have had a better accomodation for less.
I think many things are very well done, but other should be improved. For example we sent several messages to fix the fan in september and could not get to that. It was a little bit stressing. Overall we had a really good time in San Diego. Nevertheless some things could be improved.
The process of the booking, paying and communication was really easy. But its more expensive then other places.

I want to express my gratitude for Rachel's help—it was incredibly valuable in finding an apartment that closely matched my expectations. The best part of the experience, though, was definitely the amazing roommates I ended up with.
A little bit expensive for a shared room, but great location (near pacific beach) with great facilities (pool, gym etc.)
It is a very old apartment. But pricing and communication was good. Especially with the montly cleaning. But the appartment really need a renovation or at least air conditioner or heater
It was super easy to book the room and pay the ongoing bills. Even the one time there was an issue with a bill, it was resolved properly.
Yes, I definitely feel like RoomChazer made enabled me to find housing in an easier, more secure and faster way.
Excellent experience.
The accommodation situation was not suitable for various reasons, but Roomchazer was very cooperative and helpful in finding a solution and helping us. I really appreciated this.
For various reasons, the apartment was not suitable for me. Roomchazer was cooperative and generous. They offered to help and were eager to find a good solution.
I was in this city for the first time but the only bad experience was here, because from the very beginning we were lied to and uninformed about the rent. the original price compared to what I have to pay is different. I was not informed of any commission or any other expenses until after I moved. also I have to pay for the cleaning, when I was encountering a mess...
Housing Advisor was very helpful, moving in was very easy.

Helpful advisors and understanding, easy to book and everything needed was available.

It was not the easiest, but better than most

Booking was somewhat easy, but the site using the same page for multiple different listings on the same complex is a bit misleading. Payment options are the most egregious part due to no direct deposit transfers and having to pay fees on transactions. Takeover process is a bit confusing due to the link being shared by multiple listings.

It was easy to book. Our cleaner Carol was very helpful. Our housing advisor Rachel tried very hard to be accommodating.
easy to book but was unclear which room we were booking because the rooms didn't seem to be specified
Booking the place was pretty easy, thanks to the Chris, I was able to move in earlier. She was very helpful and explained me everything clearly. Also, l liked the fact that you can book the place for shorter period of time (one month) and then extend your contract. As for the dealbreakers, cockroaches were a big issue throughout the stay.

Great! Everything was easy, and my housing advisor was very responsive and willing to help me work around my unique travel circumstances.

Staff was super helpful and the process was simple and easy.
Booking the room was very easy. As a foreign student, moving in was very simple, smooth and with good directions. I found the RoomChazer teams very understanding and helpful of some of the difficulties I encountered after settling in.

All in all the process as fast and relatively easy.

Good
The price is competitive and the location is fair. Bus stops (routes 41, 44, 120) near by (around 10m away on foot) and many markets, churches, pharmacies, and so on are also close to the house. UCSD is around 1h away by bus. The house is comfortable and the kitchen has all the basics we need (microwave, refrigerator, stove, and so on). The price of the room with private bathroom is affordable, so it is definitely worth it. There is also a very cheap (1.5 dollars each - only quarters accepted) washing and drying machines available, which makes things a lot easier! The neighborhood is quiet, in general. Unfortunately, there are some homelesses in the neighborhood, but it's ok. There were some constructions, too, but it is also fine. The house itself is a little old (a few stains on the walls and ceilings), so extra care is needed when manipulating certain things, but it is also ok. There were a few months without the nice monthly cleaning RoomChazer provides, which I didnt't understand, but it was rare. Even though the kitchen has many cabinets, it is sometimes challenging to share it with other three people, but with common sense, it is possible to live without much trouble. Overall, my experience was good! The housing advisors, specifically Chris and, especially, Rachel (so nice) are very helpful and efficient! The handyman is awesome! It was very easy to book! Good luck with your roommates!
Was very simple move in process. Reservation process was slow.
Very easy to book and housing advisor was helpful. Issues listed above were quite severe however.
Very easy to book a room. Rachel was great at getting everything sorted and also helping us with the many issues we had.
Overall, this appartement was a nice place to stay in. Rachel was responsive and professional. I had a great time
Advisor was easy to get in contact to but slow to get things done as for rating my stay 4/10
Roomchazer made finding the right apartment extremely easy
It was easy to book, after that everything took a while to get resolved when ever I had issues or needed something.
Ok
Booking and extending stays was easy. Housing advisors were reasonably responsive.
It was very easy to book housing with RoomChazer and they matched us up with great roommates who will be friends for life now! Our housing advisor Rachel was really helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly for us

Very easy and smooth!
Really easy to book Thanks to Rachel
The team is very helpful for booking and the forms are very straightforwards. But I believe the cleaning of the individual rooms can be worked on. They do their best with the resources they have. (I would have appreciated more than just a 10 dollar credit which I decided to ignore. (Feel free to take this last part out of the review :) )) Overall RoomChazer is a dynamic team that does their best to accommodate everyone in a safe way.
Good place to live if you're going to USD. Roomchazer's also a great place to find temporary internship housing!
Yes very good
it was really easy to book housing with roomchazer

Yes v helpful
Overall, my RoomChazer experience was not the best. It was quite easy to book housing and the initial process was very smooth which was nice. My housing advisor was sometimes helpful before moving in and during my stay but was also unhelpful with housing issues that my roommates and I had. I do not blame her for these difficulties because it seems that the RoomChazer organization itself is unorganized and that there is a lack of communication between people employed by them.

The advertisement implies that it's a 2 bed and 4 bathroom but I was never once told that one bathroom will be shared by 3 people. It never hurts to overcommunicate and there was a clear lack of communication.

The booking went okay, I just didnt like that I had the feeling that the owner didnt want me to see the appartment before paying. In the end it worked out but I think that such a request should never be denied because it requires a lot of trust to pay huge amounts of money to a website you dont know if its not a scam for an appartment you have never seen before. At least a live virtual tour would be really nice.
Easy to book through Airbnb but communication was good during stay. House was fine but very thin walls. Roommates were awful and forced me to move out early.

Pretty easy

Moving in and communication with the advisor was seamless during my stay

Perfect

Booking and attention was nice but sincerely, I would not recommend it to a friend.
Very good experience
So, my experience with RoomChazer could be better. The housing advisor wasn't very helpful. We had some problems that took a long time to get fixed; after bagging them to fix and sending them many messages (more than three weeks of handling the problem, they did something). The kitchen light was broken for more than two months. And we had mold under the sink. The roommates were the best part of everything.

It was very easy took book the room and the transition to move in was very efficient. Also the landlord/room assigner was very polite and was quick in being responsive.
Chris and Rachel were very understanding although communication could be better with students about work scheduled to be done. There was an issue while I was moving in and Rachel got back to me quickly despite being a Saturday. The cleaning staff that comes monthly are great and always friendly. Living with strangers is definitely not easy and you really have to be prepared to deal with anything and everything. Some of the roommates made living there a miserable experience
My room was easy to book but the price did change from the initial value.

The booking process was pretty easy and fast. The housing advisors were pretty helpful. The place also has a lot of little things that needs to be repaired but never got taken care off. But overall it is not bad.

It was an easy and a great experience.

Good
Pretty great
My roomchazer experience was over well pretty good. Rachel did a pretty good job and was pretty accessible whenever I had questions or needed help. The prices were very affordable as a college student.
Advisor was helpful when moving in and made the booking process easier.

Very easy to book and very convenient for students like me.
I am grateful for the existence of this platform. I really enjoy getting to know new people. I am especially thankful for meeting Minjeong and Cindy, my former roommates. The booking process was very easy and smooth, and moving in was efficient with the lock code and keys on the door. Few areas of improvement: Cleanliness fee: When I moved in, the apartment had not been cleaned prior to my stay. Although I was planning to clean it anyway, I noticed this was a pattern for every new tenant who moved in after me. I am on hold for the cleaning fee waiver on this. Extension of Stay: I experienced a miscommunication with the main Roomchazer email regarding my intention to extend my stay, which led to me having to leave the apartment during the summer. I suggest adding an extension stay option (maybe + deposit too or amendment on the leasing contract) on the dashboard before the payment is due. This would prevent email miscommunications and ensure tenants can seamlessly extend their stays without the risk of losing their housing. Thank you for considering these suggestions to improve the housing experience for everyone.
Rachel helped to the best of her ability

Booking: mostly easy Communication: could be improved; I would have also hoped for more help from RoomChazer for their tenants - e.g. when looking for a takeover, maybe they can offer to simply ask the new tenant to move in earlier, or when it came to our roommate who lost his room and had to deal with the new tenant on his own - I think if there is an organization, it should also be available for communication about such things,...); Also, it would be helpful if the owners could be told a bit earlier when they are coming (e.g. in terms of laundry, staying (not) at home that day, ...) Website: Very much in need of improvement Payment system: very complicated (e.g. it should be possible to use credit for service charges, no new registration fee should be due when renewing a rental contract - especially for foreigners, every transaction is associated with new fees)
Rachel has been extremely helpful throughout the entirety of my experience with RoomChazer!
As an international student without prior booking experience I appreciated that the entire process of booking the room was very easy-going, as well as the monthly payments method.

My Housing Advisor was perfect, she was very kind and helpful to me.

The reservation was easy and there were not many complications, especially with the presence of a consultant, Rachel, who helped me a lot in developing some things in the residence with my roommates. Communication with her was more than wonderful and I have the utmost respect and appreciation for her
Chris and Rachel made it simple to book and were very responsive to each text. I renewed multiple times and I was very content with my stay. Thanks Roomchazer!
The booking was easy and Rachel was very helpfull. We got the help we wanted withg various things very fast - however the apartment in itself was very bad.
Yes Rachel helped a bit.

Lucky to meet RoomChazer. They were super kind and friendly. The price and system was reasonable and well-organized. Even the roommate matching was perfect so that I could meet my best friend in San Diego, in my life.
Good and very easy.
It was a pretty easy process to book my stay and I appreciate the service as a college student needing a place to live. RoomChazer was helpful in deciding what dates worked best for me, helped with my lease take-over, and had a kind team who helped myself and the roommates when needed. The housing advisor could improve on communicating more efficiently. Also wish the mold issue did not persist for a year and half until a solution was found as it was a major health hazard.
good
It was a good experience overall. I liked the stuff you can do in the building and that you can do almost everything by walking/bus/trolley. The gym is too old though, some machines are really in bad shape.
Everything with roomchazer was good at last. There was a little bit of a problem as I had to urgently move out, but still, they helped me to do my move-out process and gave everything in the way I wanted the best part was my housing advisor, Rachel, was awesome so whole stay with roomchazer was good I will come back soon.
Wonderful stay ..
Roomchazer was very responsive and helpful whenever i needed help and my roommates were friendly and tidy
Our Room Chazer host was the greatest part of this whole experience. The house was not the greatest, nor the neighborhood.
I had a great expirience with roomchazer.
The moving-in was very easy and not stressful at all. I really liked the house the neighborhood was very quiet.
The location of the apartment was impeccable! The neighbourhood and the neighbours were friendly and calm. The apartment itself was quite old and there were many things not working when I moved in (my blinds were broken, mattress had a hole, the fan was not working). We contacted Roomchazer and the thignsbwere fixed, however it took some time for maintenance to show up.
It was perfect.
RoomChazers was the best pick for my semester abroad here in San Diego. As an international student, it was hard to find a good affordable option for around 5 months. My apartment had a great location, and it was cheap considering the other places I looked at. They matched me perfectly with my roommates, we all had a great time together and will stay in touch in the future. It was an older apartment which meant it needed a little maintenance. In the beginning, back in August, it took a little bit for them to fix it but they did and towards the end, it was all really quick. Whenever I needed something, they answered. All and all I 100% recommend looking for a room with RoomChazers, since it is also very useful for students who can only stay for one semester.
RoomChazer has proved itself as a very useful page to help students fins affordable housing in San Diego. The place looked as showed the pictures and my stay here has been very comfortable. The location is good at the entrance of Pacific Beach, the only drawback being that there are not any commerces nearby and guests are very dependent on a car to move around.
I had a really good time in this apartment. I got really lucky with my roommates in the beginning. Be aware that the aparment is kind of old and used but the location close to the beach and shops, cafés and bars makes up for it. Rachel from RoomChazer was helpful with our needs. Overall I had a great time!

This apartment was generally satisfactory, considering the affordability. While the basic amenities were in place, there were notable issues that impacted our overall satisfaction, with the main culprit being the dishwasher. One significant concern was the condition of the kitchen floor, directly attributable to persistent issues with the dishwasher. Unfortunately, the water leak from the dishwasher not only rendered it unusable but also created a consistent and frustrating problem with the kitchen floor. This significantly detracted from our overall comfort and enjoyment of the apartment. Despite these challenges, the host was generally attentive to our concerns. However, the resolution of issues, especially the kitchen floor problem, took longer than expected. The delay in addressing the root cause of the issue added an element of inconvenience to our stay.
The stay overall was fine aside from when things in the apartment broke or burned out. We had to wait almost two weeks to get the garbage disposal repaired. Had multiple lightbulbs go out, one of which never got replaced because they gave me the wrong bulb for the master bathroom. They were quick to fix the tv unit and answer any questions which was a positive. However, they also raised our rent after all three members paid the whole 6-month term upfront. The parking is also terrible, especially at night if there is more than one person with a car living in the unit.
My stay at RoomChazer in San Diego was a nightmare. Maintenance issues took over a week to resolve, with blame unfairly placed on me. Safety concerns arose from a disruptive, allegedly evicted neighbor who made threats, such as blowing up the gas outside, aswell as trying to break in one night. Constant noise disturbances, poor living conditions (black mould) and unhelpful communication with RoomChazer make it an accommodation I strongly advise against. I would NOT book with them again.

Roomchazer was the best thing that happened to me! I am really happy that I took that decision. About the place it’s amazing. The only thing that I am complaining about is that I got towed infront of my apartment just because I left the car for 6 hours overnight.
Nice roommates and view, in a good area but the building is awful. Fire alarms go off very often, you can hear rats in the walls. Rachel is very nice. It took over a month to fix the bathroom sink and tub the water would not go down and it was not usable. The kitchen sink also struggled to go down and never got fixed the time i was there. Contract was for a year and I only stayed 3 months the place is way to expensive for the conditions. They were really understanding of me having to move out and helped me with that process.
overall great experience
Great location, moving in was convenient and the apartment was clean upon arrival.
I am glad there was an accommodation-booking website such as RoomChazer for me to find a place in San Diego. However, the interaction was all remote. I have never met my hosts in person and do not feel as welcome to the place as I would have liked. The place is tidy and the neighbourhood is relatively peaceful. Of course, there are always issues that come up when you live with roommates, and there is no guarantee that you will get along well with roommates. However, one of the roommates that was assigned was extremely difficult to get along with and disrespectful. It was a very traumatizing experience. I don't feel like the place placed its residents as its top priority. Overall my experience could have been better.
Booking was fine, the apartment and my roommates were great! Love PB!

Everyone was really nice and always available for inquiries. The place was clean and looked as advertised.
The booking process is fairly easy. I did experience a few challenges living here. The neighborhood is decent and quiet for the most part.
Appreciated that we were able to use RoomChazer to find a place quickly. My rooms I rented were a good fit for me, great locations, and I had good roommates.
Fuckin. Awful.
It was easy to get a room with Roomchazer. They are well organised and had a good feedback from previous tenants. The communication was easy, and the apartment is in a good condition for living.
Moving in was easy and very convenient, the apartment was in a great location and had great facilities.
The place was nice for a short stay
My host was so kind that she answered any my questions by email and prepared for my mooving-in. We can go to the ocean and many restaurants on foot, so downtown is good place, although there are many homeless people. Also the town is a little noisy at night. But I had a very good time with my nice roommates!
it was nice
Excellent experience, managers available for any question, doubt or problem. They have a variety of accommodations to suit your needs. The entire process is simple and quick, no problem finding the place and having all the information about the apartment. Everything as described, and a quiet neighborhood. It is an excellent portal to find an apartment, especially if you are moving from abroad and want to avoid scams. The price is in line with other accommodations in San Diego, which is generally very expensive.
The booking process was easy. The location of the apartment is central. One thing to note about the place is that the walls are thin so any noise will travel within the apartment, from the neighbours, and from outside.

This is a great central place, roomchazer made the moving in very easy and my host Rachael was there for any od the questions I had
Lit it s lit, for me was everything perfect, thank you
Rachel is so incredibly helpful!
All of my friends were super jealous of me living in this place. The location, the view from the windows it truly is amazing. The pool area is super nice to work and relax as your surrounded by a tropical oasis. I had an amazing time at this place and would really recommend roomchazer!
By assigning one of their operatives to me they helped me look for an apartment within my price range. They were very easy to talk to and comprehending to my situation, thus facilitating my move and finding very acceptable roommates to live with.
Roomchazer and my host made checking in really easy. Every thing was explained clearly as to how to check in and where to pick up keys etc. prior to booking my host was so helpful, I could text/ring her for questions that I had. I was able to have a FaceTime call with her before booking which made the process a lot easier. The room itself was as expected, very spacious and clean. The neighbourhood is safe and I never had any problems feeling uncomfortable walking on my own!
Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Del Rio. The apartments are very nice and do have great amenities such as the pool and the fitness centre. It is targeted towards a middle class demographic meaning the facilities are well kept and the landscaping is on par. It is also a gated community that is near both food and transportation options. If you have a Costco membership then it is a plus. Personally, I went to Food4Less off the Hazard Center Station as there are great deals there. It is only a couple of stops down on the trolley. This was a plus as I worked in Grantville and wanted to find a place to start my new job. I will say that you should be careful with the homeless as they concentrate towards the trolley station and the Mission Valley Branch Library. Depending on who you run into, it may be an issue. It seems like a community for young couples and families. The RoomChazer team had its positives such as an approval that was not based off credit and a quick timeline for moving in. It fit within my budget and was cheaper than options that I found on Facebook and other housing sites. They also placed me with other men which was a perk too. My advice for future guests is to keep them in the loop as communication can be a bit on the slower side and be sure to emphasise your questions in your messaging. That way it can be addressed. Make sure to keep an eye out for messages during the move-in process as I moved in without a key. Also, be sure to keep an eye on packages as what you order online can seemingly disappear before it gets to you.

Roomchazer and Rachel made the process of moving in very easy and fast. The place is in a great location, and the people I met here were really nice.
The moving I process was as smooth as I could’ve hoped for. Great help from the roomchazer team.
I think the process of being hosted by Roomchazer was very convenient, easy, and helpful. I am pleased with the experience and that my stay met all of my expectations.
The roomchazer team was very helpful throughout the process of moving in and everything. The complex was really cool and offered a lot of amenities, the neighborhood is very nice and safe.
Pacific Beach Dr. was a great place to stay during the summer, I loved it! I would say the only con was the parking situation during busy times (4th of July and weekends). The host also didn't have a sense of urgency in times where things needed to be fixed, but other than that Rachel was great!
RoomChazer made it quick and easy to book and moving in was extremely efficient and adequate. The place was exactly as expected and during our stay if there was ever any problems our host was able to accommodate and assist us.

Really good however there was a mistake with the payment on roomchazer which made us think our deposit was part of Julys payment and caused confusion.

Good overall
They were very helpful, quick to respond!
My experience with roomchazer was very pleasant. Any issues I had were dealt with quickly and they are very easy to get in contact with. The accommodation and complex were just as stated in the listing.
Rachel and Roomchazer were very accommodating throughout the booking process. The apartment was exactly as shown in the pictures. This apartment was in a residential area with a 4 minute walk to the bus stop. I really enjoyed my stay and overall experience with this company.
RoomChazer did a great job for making the move in process easy and fast for me.
The whole process was very straightforward and simple and I experienced no issues. The roomchazer team were very helpful and cooperative. The space itself exceeded expectations for the most part and is very conveniently situated if working downtown.
The place is awesome! It’s so insanely close to the beach and all the stuff in the apartment is pretty nice, too. Only thing is that there’s no AC and even with the windows open, there’s not too much air flow, but it never hot unbearably hot—just a bit uncomfortable. All my roommates were super chill so it was a cool way to meet people. The customer service when I was trying to book was pretty terrible, though. I really had to dive deep into the Roomchazer website and advocate for myself to get this place close to the beach even though when I got here, my roommates said my bed had been empty for months, so I’m not sure why Roomchazer didn’t just match me with it right away.

Roomchazer were great, they were so helpful in getting our lease kick started and everything sorted for moving in even with the time difference making it hard to keep in contact

Not the best neighborhood but It’s in a great location close to the bay, has restaurants and shopping centers nearby. It’s been a smooth stay here.

My experience with RoomChazer was very good. I was very last minute with my plans and RoomChazer accommodated them great. I liked my roommates and overall a good experience.
When I was booking I was in a rush to move in my housing advisor Rachel was very good at communicating and got me moved in on time. The place was exactly as advertised and was good.
Room chazer were very helpful at the beginning. Rachel answered all my questions and made sure all my problems were solved . She even went as far as checking to see if she can lower the price for us
The process of renting and moving-in was seamless! Throughout the whole stay, the Roomchazer team and the host were always available to answer questions and concerns. Managing my rent was also a breeze, everything was at my fingertips right here on the Roomchazer website. Overall, great experience for a great value! About the house and the neighborhood. The house looks freshly renovated. I lived with 2 roommates: each of us had a private room but we had to share a bathroom. There was also a coin laundry in the back of the building. Parking was always easy, plenty of spots along the street. The neighborhood was quiet, at least during the summer. The location was perfect, it’s right in the center of everything.
There was a lack of communication between roomchazer and us but overall it was a nice place. You get what you pay for.
I recently had the pleasure of using Room Chazer, a third-party provider specializing in student accommodations, and I am thrilled to share my experience. From the effortless registration process to the extensive housing options, Room Chazer made finding housing fast and easy. The user-friendly platform allowed me to browse through a wide range of properties, from private rooms to shared accommodations, all tailored to student needs. Communication with property owners was efficient and seamless, and the booking and move-in process was hassle-free. Throughout the entire experience, Room Chazer's support team provided reliable assistance, ensuring a smooth transition. I highly recommend Room Chazer to any student seeking convenient and student-focused housing solutions, allowing you to focus on your studies while they take care of finding the perfect place for you.
They were very helpful and flexible to what I needed.

RoomChazer was very quick and helpful with the move-in process. They were very accommodating of my situation. I had great housemates and a private room.

The experience was awesome, and I am so happy that I was able to stay here and find this spot.
The room was bigger than it seemed in the picture and the roommates were nice
RoomChazer made the whole process very easy, especially coming from abroad, as it was so difficult to find any housing. The room matching was also done very well and I loved all of my roommates. Pacific Beach is definitely the area live in if you enjoy the beach, surfing, and socialising. It is a very laid back neighbourhood and it really made my time in San Diego the best!
Was a great stay!

nice

Good
This place isn’t in the best area, but its location is very convenient and right down the street from several food spots, stores, etc.

The experience was cool with Somme good roommates and in a very good building
I loved my stay with roomnchazer, Rachel was so kind and helpful throughout the whole process.
It was cool to meet others from around the world, and the neighborhood is good too
The onboarding process was very quick and assistance was given when needed. The place was in very good shape in a good location.
At first, I was hesitant to try out Roomchazer because I was not allowed to view the property before signing the contract. They provided pictures and some details of the room. Moving in was a good experience and my stay was fine.

Great
It was good, the advisor sometimes wasn't quick with responses but the apartment was fine. Really liked my random roommate!
Roomchazer was helpful with the whole process. The house was like the pictures!
I have been satisfied with roomchazer throughout the time I have been renting my room. They made the move-in process easy and they take roomate matching seriously which I really appreciate, as I had the best roomates I could have asked for. The apartment was as expected and has everything you need. The location of the apartment is amazing, so close to the beach, cafes and grocery stores right in the middle of PB.
RoomChazer's booking and moving-in process was overall smooth and well. The place was as expected. The neighborhood is very friendly, only problem is that street parking can be tough at times. You also have to pay in order to do laundry. Other than that it's an alright place.
Good room in a nice house
Easy to book and no major issues during my stay. The service has been good.
RoomChazer was always really helpful with any concerns. The neighborhood is nice and there is a lot to do.
My old roommate said the rent was increased by $200 for the shared room, and I don't think $800 for a shared room is a good value. The heater does not work, there is mold in the bathroom that was painted over, and the plumbing has still not been fixed months after I asked for it (we called three plumbers to fix a broken t trap, and one of them refused to take the blame because the pipes were too old). the down stars neighbor hits our floors and tried to open our screen door once. They charged me extra once and I had to contact them to correct their error. They'll message you every day if they need something from you. I was informed from my old roomate (that left early) that the owner of the place doesnt even know who roomchazer is only the new landlord and chris
RoomChazer was very helpful throughout the entire process. I had a pleasant experience.

RoomChazer made the stay very comfortable, not to much happens in the neighborhood and it was a nice place to stay.
Roomchazer was really truth and supportive in all ways. Room was as expected. Rachel was nice and answering when needed. The area was nice as well and have a lot of students.
The neighborhood is quiet, the place is very nice. Everything was easy and there were no surprises. Enjoyed my stay very much!
I had a great neighbourhood around linda vista. Close to everything that I need. My room is spacious and the house is great.

Booking was easy.
Booking and moving-in was pretty easy and intuitive as well as the assistance during the stay. The place was as expectedand the neighborhood is quite calm.

RoomChazer was easy to book and good area for students who are looking for a place to stay in San Diego.
I was warmly welcomed by my roommates and the roomchazer team was professional, clear and efficient throughout my stay.
Roomchazer where quick and responsive to help with my booking and securing accommodation before the start of the semester. The neighbourhood is a safe, well maintained, gated community with excellent amenities (gym, pool, jacuzzi, barbeque). If you don't mind sharing a room with another person, then this is a fantastic place to stay, located only 10min trolley journey from SDSU. P.S The corner part of the sofa is the comfiest place ever.
The booking was super easy and the Roomchazer team was really helpful. I was really happy with the apartment and the roommates. Great locations and great prices!
My experience here has been amazing , thank you!
Moving-In was easy, neighborhood was okay. For the place: You get what you pay for. Don't expect anything crazy. I'll get you thru the semester.

Rachel and Chris always respond to me when I need their help. Thank you! I rented my apartment from RoomChazer in a bustling downtown area and I have to say, I am extremely satisfied with my experience. From the moment I stepped into the building, I was impressed with the cleanliness and modern design. My apartment itself is spacious, with plenty of room for all of my belongings. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances and ample counter space for cooking and meal prep. The living room is comfortable and well-lit, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. One of the best parts of living in this apartment is the amenities. The building has a fitness center, which I have been using regularly, as well as a rooftop deck with stunning views of the city. There's also a communal lounge area with a pool table and plenty of seating, which is great for entertaining friends and family. The location of the apartment is also a major plus. It's walking distance to many popular restaurants and bars, as well as public transportation options, making it easy to get around the city. Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a modern, spacious, and convenient living space in the heart of the city. The rent is on the higher side, but in my opinion, it's worth every penny for the quality of living you get in return.
Rachel, my host was really helpful and she was always ready to help me with any questions or issues. Besides that, I believe most of the experience was extremely disappointing. The place didn't look like the pictures, it was really old, small and nothing to what we were expecting. You don't get anything in the apartment, you have to buy from bedding to everything in the kitchen. The payments have a huge interest rate if you don't have a US bank account (for international students, this is a huge issue and the rent highly increases). We had a gas leak that no one helped us to coordinate and even if it was extremely dangerous, no one compensated us or even apologized for the danger hazard. We also had several termites, ants during our stay. Even if the place is clean, it is so old that it is uncomfortable and the neighborhood is also not the best. Overall experience was disappointing, wouldn't recommend because if you go on Facebook you can easily find better places with just a tiny bit of more effort than what Roomchazer allegedly helps you avoid.
The location of apartment is perfect, its close to the bay, the beach and to Pb downtown so it is all walkable, easily. Thats so much worth. A nice Woman cleand the apartment every month. The kitchen has all you need. Nothing missing. There were some issues and Roomchazer’s was always there, and tried to help ans to guarantee an nice stay. I’d definitely come back thanks !

very nice
The booking with Roomchazer was incredibly easy and quick, my housing advisor helped me with everything.
I loved used roomchazer everything was quick and easy

I am an USD inernational student. Last August I got a room nearby USD campus, but it turns to a terrible experience. The landlady is a total control freak. The house is inhabited with tons of ants. Really freaking. So we have to be super cautious to keep everywhere dry with a drop of water, because she thinks the water brings the ants. I and my roommater are super clean and polite, but she still blame us everyday and required us for unreasonable thing such as keep a wiper at certain area on kitchen table. Tons of rules. Most important thing, she didn't allow us to cook to "ruin" the house by the smoke. And she said we can have dinner in restaurants. And she took our deposit with her own wear and tear. After a month, I asked help from a friend. He introduce me RoomChazer. Christine gave a big support to get me out of the situation, and I moved out the old house just 3 days after we decided to end of this terrible situation. I am so glad I can cook again , and my roommates are nice. Everything in the house are new and I don't worry to use them normally. The location is good. I took about 7 minutes bus to campus. Bus stop & Supermarket in walk distance and neighborhood is safe. RoomChazor clean the house every month and replace the cookingware if they think it is not in good condition. This is really sustainable and friendly to me. A very good experience to live in Linda Vista with RoomChazor and my roommates. I highly recomendate RoomChazor!
Good
I totally enjoyed my stay with Roomchazer. The apartment was super nice and in a great location. Whenever we needed something like kitchen utensils, Roomchazer provided them for us. Moving in and out was easy. The price for this apartment is also very reasonable compared to the usual San Diego prices. Would totally recommend staying here.
The room chazer team was super helpful with everything and even though I was out of state they did their absolute best to reach out to me.
RoomChazer and my host made the process quite smooth and were very helpful.

Good location, safty, leaning service but it’s hard to meet a roommate who doesn’t have same level of cleaning
Really beautiful view. Right on top of a hill in the middle of San Diego, you can see the whole city, all the mountains, and the ocean from the balcony view. Really great to wake up to every morning watching the sunrise over the mountains, and relaxing to see the ocean at the end of the day. Quiet safe neighborhood, common living room was spacious and clean, plenty of room to cook in the kitchen. Roommates are friendly. Roomchazer was understanding for a lot of concerns though I had to very clearly communicate. Also Tecolote canyon is the most beautiful heavenly quiet desert sanctuary right around the corner. Definitely recommend walking or biking through the neighborhood to Tecolote Canyon every sunrise and sunset. That location being so close triples the value of this apartment for sure.

Host was responsive, communication was decent.

Only a few minutes away from the beach, my room was as expected and communication with RoomChazer was always pleasant:)
I loved it , don’t gotta say anything more .
We really enjoyed our stay at the Bay pointe apartment in San Diego. The location of the apartment is very good. In addition, we found it very nice that the pool, a hot tub and various sports facilities could be used on site. The fact that the rooms are already fully furnished is also a great advantage, especially for temporary stays. The contact persons are also very friendly and happy to help with any problems.
I really enjoyed my stay, everything was like the pictures and the location was perfect.
The booking process is super easy and Chris was always very helpful and responsive when we needed something. The location is perfect. It takes only about 7 minutes to walk to the beach and watch the amazing sunsets.
RoomChazer was really helpful during the whole process from booking, moving-in, getting a parking permit to moving-out. Due to a spontaneous change of plans I had to find a take-over for my apartment and even then my housing advisor provided me with real helpful information and took care of the whole process. The apartment was as expected. I just wished I just had a little more luck with one of our roommates as she was very untidy. All in all a really good experience!
Booking with Roomchazer is super easy and works really well! The apartment is perfectly located - 5 min walk to the Bay and 15 - 20 min walk to Pacific Beach. I really enjoyed my stay at this location and the drive by car to SDSU is approx 18-20 min.
The service and communication between roomchazer and me was very good. If there were any problems or questions, I was helped immediately with an answer.
RoomChazer employees were super helpful through the whole process and it was a great place for college kids.
I really liked my experience with roomchazer! Nice apartment, nice roommates and we got help whenever we asked for it.
RoomChazer was very helpful. They always replied very quick after setting up an online account with them and sending them all the required information. The place was exactly like on the pictures. They even provided a very helpful packing list. I was very happy with my flat mates. We were all UCSD students and the place had the perfect location right behind the shops and the trolley station and super close to UCSD.

RoomChazer made finding an affordable place in San Diego easy. I got information and responses quickly. My host/advisor was kind and helpful with suggestions about transportation and locations. I am grateful that my first experience finding a place in this city was with them.
The rooms were nice and were cleaned. The rotation of roommates were sometimes hit or miss, but overall a good experience.
The stay was overall good, but the dishwasher was not working as it would flood the kitchen floor when we used it, and there was damage to the bathroom, but overall my stay was fine.
Almost everything was ok but the fridge is still broken since I moved in.
Roomchazer helped me find an affordble place to live, with good roommates in my La Jolla apartment. The area is really nice and easily walkable.

Totally recommended! I had a very good time renting with roomchazer. Great apartment complex, location, and quick respond from the host.
The service and help was very good - the condition of the place was less then desirable the carpets were all stained the appliances were old -
booking, moving in and stay was easy and good. rommates were paired well.
RoomChazer had my back when coming for a summer internship at UCSD from Europe. Finding housing would be very difficult otherwise and I am incredibly thankful for the service which RoomChazer provides. The whole process was very smooth, Chris helped me to find the perfect apartment for me and always answered any of my questions. We had a plumbing problem in the apartment which was solved as soon as possible. Otherwise the apartment is in great shape, it's simple, but there is everything you need and it's very clean and well-kept. The neighbourhood is great, I could go for a run at 10PM, very safe and clean. Groceries and other shops are right across the street, trolley and buses to UCSD and downtown are an 8 minute walk. There is a community pool, gym and laundry room which was cheap and easy to use. I highly reccomend Roomchazer and the apartment.
Booking was very easy and much less stressful than other methods of finding housing. The apartment complex was very nice, although the apartment was advertised as having A/C when there wasn't any. Kitchen was also pretty unequipped which was inconvenient for an intern without many possessions. Overall it was a very smooth and easy experience, however.
Great place location wise right by the beach and main avenues, decent website made payments easy and trackable, but don't stay here unless you want health complications from mold because they were negligent and the whole time there was a type of black mold on the bathroom walls despite mentioning it to their employees multiple times.
The accomodation was as expected and for the most part as described. It is near a major university and despite being so it is pretty quiet. I loved that the place came furnished with kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies (i.e. vacuum, broom, mop), etc. However, I think it would be appropriate to mention on the listing that parking is quite an issue for this location. 1. Finding parking after about 8pm is extremely difficult and 2. Your car will get scratched because you might at one point have to park on a hill. There are many other tenants that smoke outside so if you have your window open you'll smell it.
the moving in was good and they were able to help me find this place fast. great location, awesome amenities, and inside apartment is nice
The place was really nice, the only thing is that it said online that there was going to be an AC, but the apartment didn't have it unfortunately. Besides that, I loved the place and the location. The pool area is so fun to lay at and I love the fire-pit.
It was a good experience here. The security was friendly and the room was nice and spacious .
Booking with RoomChazer is great for international students because the process is so easy! The apartment is in a prime location and the neighborhood is very beautiful and safe. The living room and kitchen are very spacious with a nice view outside and I felt very comfortable in the apartment (just don't expect european quality). There were some issues in the beginning like a broken dishwasher and broken heater but Chris took care of it immediately! You just gotta let her know! Maintenance is usually really quick with fixing it.

Chris was extremely helpful when moving in and throughout the time there. Apartment was in a good location downtown, however there are a lot of homeless around the area so was cautious of this.
Easy booking, nice neighborhood, good price.

The room was great very spacious and bright. Chris who helped me with the process was amazing very efficient.
This was a lovely house which was quite central to PB, downtown San Diego etc. Housemates were very friendly and easy to live with.

The place isn't bad, its big enough and entirely functional for a short term stay. I wouldn't recommend stying here without a car but it is doable, only a five minute walk from the nearest bus station and if you pay attention to the bus schedule you can get around SD without too much trouble. The neighborhood isn't great and isn't bad, there's a good Asian grocery store and a few decent spots to eat within walking distance.
It was very good and the process was very straight forward
It was cool. I like my roommates
RoomChazer was helpful in the booking process and helped with getting me any missing items and updating my lease since I moved out early.
Nice neighborhood. Right in the middle of a lot of great places to go in San Diego. Only 10-15 minutes from Downtown, Pacific Beach, La Jolla, Del Mar, Torrey Pines, etc. Nice furnishing in the apartment and everything in good condition. Enjoyed my stay here

The neighborhood is very good! You can walk to the beach in 30 minuts. The complex of the apartment is really nice. The house itself could use some new interior. But it is simple and oke.
I really enjoyed my experience with roomchazer! I met some of my best friends through roomchazer. My apartment was such a nice area, it felt very safe, and it was so close to all of the fun areas. Not to mention the apartment complex's amenities were amazing, the pool, gym, and package room were all so nice.

My roomchazer experience was great. Moving in was very smooth and roomchazer staff were very helpful. The apartment was very clean and identical to the photos on the website. The apartment complex has great facilities. The apartment is in a safe neighbourhood and very accessible to public transport and walking distance from Gaslamp.
This was a great place that left very few things to worry about. Management was friendly and helpful.

It was great. A very simple and easy process overall with booking. The place was in a great location and the facilities were excellent, couldn't of asked for more. Chris was always quick to respond to anything even though we had little to no issues.
Complex and apartment are very comfortable except noise which comes from street also manager is so kind and helpful.

It was really self-explanatory.
I was informed after I had committed to the room that it was infested with cockroaches and we have had difficulty receiving assistance with maintenance. It is also frustrating not having any contact during non-work hours.
Location was ideal with walking distance to the beach and didn’t have any major issues during my stay. The place is older and has no ac but it wasn’t unbearable hot during the summer that it wasn't a major issue.
They were so friendly and available to help us with any maintenance, rent, etc. help in great time.

Everything was great!

Roomchazer was very helpful when moving in and making sure everything was in order. Regarding roommates, those were a hit or miss. Besides Roomchazer, the building itself had some maintenance issues that were consistent throughout the year I stayed here. The location was a positive as it is very central to everything and didn't require much travel.
It was pleasant.
Not going to lie; I thought it was a scam signing up. For it wasn't! It's accredited and saved me from moving out here for my summer internship in Sorrento Valley. The booking experience was terrific, very smooth, straight forward. Little to no complaints.
It was so easy to book and move in! The apartment was just as expected and the monthly cleanings were a nice perk. This was a perfect place to stay for the summer!
Room chazer was great at providing info about the apartment and the surrounding area. They were very organised and helpful. If ever we needed to contact them they responded straight away!
It is worth the experience if it is for a short time period.
Great help
The location of the housing is perfect for skaters and surfers!

RoomChazer is very helpful for students coming from abroad. Moving-in was easy. During my stay several issues occurred such as problems with plumbing etc. However, all the problems were taken seriously and it was acted immediately by RoomChazer. Also, Chris always checked in to see if the problems have been solved or if we needed further assistance. The location of the apartment is great, just a few minutes walk from the bay. The neighborhood is nice and I felt very safe. I can recommend staying here.
While being with roomchazer, payments were easy to make, and get in contact with the landlord was too difficult, however, we got scammed out of the original newer apartment we were supposed to have and on the same day of our move-in, our apartment number changed which meant we were now in an older apartment. The walls and floors were dirty, the nails stuck of from carpets even when I had it "fixed", my phone was stolen from house-keeping and they could "do nothing" about it.
My host Chris was great. However, the apartment that I was given was not like the one described. We were assigned a specific unit- which was then switched around 2 more times. We were given an old and rundown unit. We were paying the same amount as the others living here, but with a worse apartment. Very disappointed.
I do not think this stay could have been any better. I have lived here for 2 years and I would strongly recommend staying here if you are a graduate student. The staff is friendly, the property is well maintained, and the area unbeatable. Chris really made everything very easy and enjoyable. I will strongly recommend future students and interns to stay with any propertied that Chris has to offer. especially Del Rio

My host Chris was extremely helpful and understanding as to why we were moving out. Our move-in was smooth and inviting. We were greeted with our envelopes with keys and felt secure in the house. Overall, my experience with roomchazer has been a good one.
everything went well and most my needs were accodamadeted although infrastrucutre is not the same standards as in europe.
I find it VERY UNPROFESSIONAL that I’m REQUIRED to complete a review before being able to complete the move-out form and receive my deposit back! Overall, it was not a great experience for me! Each roommate is required to do a matching form, however it seems those forms are not properly utilized when assigning roommates. This lead to many disagreements about cleanliness, personal belongings , and simple respect between roommates. While RoomChazer is not directly responsible for roommate conduct, there was little done when I’d raise valid concerns. In the end, I was basically told to suck it up and was even had the RommChazer CEO raise her voice at me during a phone conversation. Although she made a feeble attempt to appease the tumultuous situation-1 week before I moved out- my experience with this company has already been tarnished. Additionally, my roommates and I never went over the $90 electric bill in a whole year. Once 2 different roommates moved in, the usage skyrocketed and although I have proof that RoomChazer agreed that I was not responsible for the extra charges, I am still being charged for months of overusage on someone else’s behalf. As far as the “scheduled” monthly cleanings, they were very random and we were sometimes given very little notice(less than 24hrs) via email and would have to prepare the apt for someone to come in. There are also SEVERAL issues with the building. Mail room break ins, car break ins in a paid gated garage, only 3 elevators and at least 1 is always broken, trash chutes out of order for months, key fob errors, and security that don’t do their jobs.
Roomchazer was very helpful and the apartment was great! It was in the perfect location if you attend UCSD. I was able to walk to the bus stop to take the 202 onto campus for a less than a 5-minute bus ride to campus. I also walked for groceries. I had never had a problem with finding street parking also. Honestly one of the best places I have ever lived in San Diego.

The apartment was exactly as expected, in the perfect location for a UCSD student down the road from campus and across the road from Ralph's and Trader Joe's. The host was very helpful during the move-in process, and had exceptional communication regarding cleaning and general apartment maintenance throughout the year.
I had a great experience with Roomchazer! I was greatly struggling to find off campus housing as the university I attend denied me housing and most landlords denied me as well given I was a student. The process was very smooth, easy, and a lifesaver. The place was just as expected, spacious, and in a very safe neighborhood.
Roomchazer was very helpful with the booking process. I personally loved my neighborhood. Chris was super helpful with maintenance calls and anything we needed help or assistance with.
Nice and spacious living room area and balcony. The room itself is on the smaller side for the price and the street can get a bit noisie in the morning. The appartment complex however is great (gym and pool)
Pretty good, the apartment could be maintained and upgraded.
I think RoomChazer is a perfect choice for students. The cooperation was pretty straightforward and my Housing Advisor was very helpful.

I am beyond happy with my experience with RoomChazer. Firstly, the moving-in process was pretty easy and not too complicated. Secondly, I got super lucky with my roommates and I believe we became family to each for a semester! Thirdly, the location and facilities were fantastic! Highly recommend!
RoomChazer made my first experience with signing a lease and paying rent so easy and convenient. Chris was always really helpful and quick to reply when I had any issues with the apartment as well.
there is nothing thank you
Finding a place during the summer before college was really stressful overall but Roomchazer made booking and moving in to my place really easy. Everything is on the app and monthly payments were very easy to manage with consistent reminders. The place was as expected but I was actually surprised by the size of the living room.

RoomChazer did a really great job ! I lived literally in the best place that I can imagine, in the center of Downtown with a lot of amenities ! RoomChazer wes there for me all the time when I needed, during all the semester, from the moving-in to the moving out ! I can just recommend RoomChazer for all the students, especially, international students, without them, I don't know if my semester would have tasted the same !
Chris was fine, she helped us in every possible way. We had some problems along the way with roaches, water overflows, but overall everything went smooth.
Wasn't a good experience at this location. I couldn't have said it better myself. My roommate Lorna hit it right on spot. The location was good, but a few neighbors made it very unpleasant being there. You felt like you were being watched and you felt like you had to walk on eggshells the whole time you were there. The place was quiet, but the walls are paper thin. You can hear anything and everything from upstairs to downstairs. Hope the next group have a bad experience. Especially people of color. Don't have anything bad to say about Roomchazer. I would definitely recommend working with them again, but not at that location.

The stay at Bay Pointe with the roomchazer was good and over my expectation. It was easy to move in and as a student for one semester, it was nice not having to buy living accommodation for the short period of my stay. Chris always answered if We had any questions or needed help with something. Great location in PB
Hur host helpt us a lot. The apartment looked as experted and the neighbprhood was nice. We had a lot of unexpected trouble with our apartment though.

Roomchazer's team listened to my requests and helped me to find the best accomodation. They were reactive and helped me during my arrival. Just like my roommates who were very welcoming. The place was exactly as I expected and the neighbourhood quiet.

It is a great neighborhood. Roomchazer and the advisors there helped a lot with the whole process.
Roomchazer has an easy booking system and Chris is easy to contact. The place was exactly like expected.
Overall, I have been very satisfied with the accommodation. Both the communication and the contractual agreement was very simple and straightforward. The move-in also went smoothly, as a key was already deposited and my roommates were very helpful. However, we had to move to a hotel in the meantime because our washing machine was broken and mold had formed. When electrical appliances were broken or things were missing, they were taken care of quickly. The accommodations were as expected, there is a large pool area, Gym and Study room. The neighborhood is very quiet and belongs rather to the upper class. The trolley station is also a short walk away, though my roommate and I still opted to rent a car as we could be more flexible on the road.
Nice neighborhood, bedrooms as pictured, good roommate matching!
Everything went really smoothly and RoomChazer always supported me whenever I needed them! Would 100% stay with them again!
Perfect Location. Great Amenities. Grocery stores are walking distance (around 20 minutes). Bay is a 5 min walk. Beach is a 30 min walk. Bus connection infront of the apartment. Good bus connection to the old town and the trolley station. I would recommend staying here.
I did not enjoy staying here. The neighbors lied on me and my roommates... saying that we were being loud and disrespectful. We experienced racism and prejudice. We were surveillanced and questioned inappropriately about our race/ethnicity, our jobs and the details of our lease by neighbors. We were told that our living here was making the environment too "urban" by a neighbor. The owner of the building would show up unexpectedly to our apartment to inspect and question us. We all felt very uncomfortable here and our living experience here was all very disappointing.
Chris was a pleasure to work with.
Wasn't a good experience at this location. I couldn't have said it better myself. My roommate Lorna hit it right on spot. The location was good but a few neighbors made it very unpleasant being there. You felt like you was being watched and you felt like you had to walking on eggshells the whole time you were there. The place was quiet but the walls are paper thin. You can hear anything and everything from upstairs to downstairs. Hope the next group have a bad experience. Especially people of color. Don't have anything bad to say about Roomchazer. I would definitely recommend working with them again, but not at that location.
Overall the entire stay at Cortez Hill in Downtown San Diego was great. There were a few hiccups with a roommate situation that was resolved very quickly that I was happy about. The area was nice if you are a city person you will love it, gaslamp is a 10 minute walk away along with tons of coffee shops in the area. The pier is a 20 minute walk away and great as well. Everything in the area is a quick 20 minute drive away, and great that the airport is so close as well. The apartment has a lot of great amenities, great kitchen, that has everything you need. Everything seems a little dated but is totally okay. The gym has just about everything you need, the pool is super nice, and the sun deck is great as well if you like to shoot some hoops with some friends. Overall a great experience that Chris did a great job setting me up with.

It was a easy process and a very nice place
The booking and moving in were very easy. The roommates were super nice! The place itself is fine for the price. However, it is a bit run down and the carpet is dirty so it could use some renovation and better furniture. I saw other nicer places from the same platform for a bit higher rents. PB is generally a great place to live but don't expect the apartment to be very close to the beach and bars (it's 25 - 30 min walking distance).
Roomchazer help me in the beginning of moving in and throughout my stay I had a few problems and all I have to do is contact Chris to help me out with the problems. The pictures on roomchaser were just as expected in person. The neighborhood is great and has no problems whatsoever besides being a little noisy.
Roomchazer did a great job of making the entire process simple and easy

The place was as expected and we really loved the location and view from our apartment! Our host was really kind and helpful during moving in and throughout our entire stay have helped us and stayed in contact, if we needed anything or had any problems. Overall a really nice place!

I really loved living here and love that it is in the middle of downtown! Our apartment had a really nice location. Overall a good experience and great apartment.

Everything was great! Easy process.

Roomchazer and my host helped me a lot during my move in process, and while staying. They took good care of my neccecities.
My moving in process is really smooth especially with all the instructions left on the roomchazer website. The apartment overall was up to my expectations and so was living in downtown San Diego. I was very happy during my stay.
My room manager was a great help with all sorts of questions. The apartment is in a good neighborhood. It is a 5 min foot walk to Mission Bay and a 15 - 20 min foot walk to Pacific Beach. However, the apartment is sparsely furnished and the dishwasher is not working. Also, it is very cold in the apartment during the winter months as there is no heater.
It has been great. Meet all my expectations.
This place was like a second home. The amenities were good and the neighbourhood is also safe to walk around. The garnet street is good to party and the pacific beach is just 10 min away by foot.
RoomChazer was a perfect opportunity, to find a really good apartment in the San Diego. The process is designed to be very simple and quick and could easily be done from home before the start of the semester abroad. Chris was always available quickly in case of problems.
Due to Roomchazer I had an incredible time in San Diego because I didn't have to worry about housing. The communication with Chris was smooth and quick and the apartment was in a great location near to the bay, a lot of bars, and restaurants. The complex has a pool, two jacuzzis, tennis courts and a basketball court. Also, the neighbors are very nice, we never had issues with the people living next to us.
Everything was super easy with Roomchazer. Thanks to the easy process i had no problems with booking, moving-in or moving-out. The apartment was better than expected and i had 3 awesome roommates. When we had problems our Advisor or somebody else was always there to help us. Overall it was a great experience and i am happy that i chose roomchazer!

The location of the apartment is outstanding. Also, the living room is very nice. Unfortunately, we had some issues with clogged pipes. However, RoomChazer has always been available and has taken care of fixing the issue.
RoomChazer helped me to arrange everything and especially Chris helped us if there were problems. Sometimes we had problems with the water but besides that, I was very satisfied with the experience
They were helpful for booking. I had to find a place within a few weeks and Chris responded quickly. Since everything was so last minute there were very few options, the only one (for 3 weeks) was in the middle of roach treatments and the place was a mess and the roommate was also a major mess. After those three weeks I was moved to a different unit in the same building which turned out great. It was at the end of its roach treatments so it was not as bad in that respect as the first.

RoomChazer was always very helpful. There occurred several issues during my stay such as problems with the dishwasher etc. However, all the problems were taken seriously and it was acted immediately by RoomChazer. The neighborhood ist nice and safe.

RoomChazer was helpful all along and the process of booking was super easy and self explanatory! Roomchazer offered me support with arranging picking up from the airport. And the moving-in was totally stress-free. The apartment and the area exceeded my expectations by far! I really enjoyed staying in Del Rio Apartments! The pool area, gym, and the whole complex give you a feeling of staying in a hotel!
Roomchazer took a while to finally get me in my room but once I got here it was great. Mostly good roommates, a great area and awesome apartment complex.
I was completely satisfied with Roomchazer. From start to finish, there were never any problems communicating with Roomchazer or the host. For questions and comments, our host was always immediately available to us via Whatsapp and phone. The price-performance ratio was perfect. The location directly in Pacific Beach is ideal. The neighborhood is also very pleasant. There were never any problems here.

everything was good. Roomchazer always helped us and the communication was perfect. The neighbors at Bay Pointe were really kind.
Good
The apartment is located Downtown. It can be noisy sometimes. It is quite hard to find parking here. It is good to apply early for the parking garage which is part of the apartment complex. What really stands out is the pool area, basketball court, and tennis court. A lot of things are within walking distance, but it is still important to have a car. There is an AC in the living room but we never used it because it is too expensive for the electrical bill. The same goes for heating.
It was good nice people stayed with cool people overall a good experience just ended up finding something way bigger for a fraction of the price closer to SDSU.
It was terrible
I had an amazing stay with Chris and the team who was very flexible with my situation. I really appreciated the attention to detail and communication during move in/out and during my stay. The neighborhood was perfect as a UCSD student and would recommend for fellow students!
The recommendation came from the internet as well as my university. The experience at using Roomchazer is pretty basic and straight forward. Considering this is a website I would recommend to any International college student coming to San Diego to study for their Higher education. I have lived in Ava Cortez with the help of Roomchazer for 2 years. In the short period, it is really convenient to travel into the city.
Christine was super helpful and didn't let me miss a step during my stay here. She was always helpful and accommodated the best she could. The apartment was as I expected and I rarely had any issues with the place.
it was nice to find a quick place to live.
The whole moving-in process was simple and smooth, everything in the house was exactly as I expected it. Chris, my advisor, has always been kind and helpful, and the roommates were great. I’m sad to leave Pacific Beach! I’ll definitely contact RoomChazer again in case of need. :)
RoomChazer is a good platform that helps students (especially internationals and interns) to find a place to stay for short periods. The location of the apartment I stayed at was great. However, the apartments differ in their quality.
The apartment complex and neighborhood was nice. I had 6 roommates and 5 of them were great. It was difficult to get mail sometimes.
She was very helpful and readily available!
Roomchazer was very helpful with moving in and moving out! Chris was very responsive and when we needed something fixed they were right on it! Great location a few blocks from the beach and the bars, like it says. Sad to go.
Was easy for me but Chris help me a lot during the beginning
the place was great! nicer than i thought it was going to be. Chris was very helpful and responsive. Location is fantastic
Good. This experience went smooth and chris was always there to help us.
They worked with me and were always nice and understanding.
It was good I liked it
It was good

My apartment was originally listed as having an all female apartment, but it wasn't until I booked the AirBnB that I learned males would also be my roommates. The cost of rent is a bit outrageous considering a shared bedroom is close to $900. The host sent my roommates and I periodic checkups on when our cleaning would be, but wasn't available to contact on the weekends. I wasn't able to get out of my original contract to accommodate my needs so I did all the necessary steps yet nothing worked. Then the host stated they found someone to take over my room, but never followed through or updated me with the status of that person.
The RoomChazer host, Chris was great, easy to work with. I would highly recommend renting from them.
Everything went as expected. The room was great and the housing advisor helped quite a bit to help me find another place after this one. Very good experience.
Roomchazer was exactly what I needed. I got to live in an ideal location and really enjoyed my stay.
RoomChazer let me live in San Diego in a nice apartment for a reasonable price! they matched with a roommate and found accommodations for us when there was an accident in our unit. My advisor has always been responsive and helpful.
It was good as expected
My experience with RoomChazer was great! The communication was good and I felt very safe and comfortable at my unit in Ava Cortez Hill for the 3 years that I lived there. The location was close to various restaurants, stores and night life.
Chris, our host, was great. She was accessible and helpful. I loved the place overall. I got along fantastic with my roommates, and the location is almost unbeatable. 20 min walk to the beach, good parking situation, and close to grocery stores and others. I also liked the location of our apartment specifically. Highest floor, looking over to the street. Of course, there is road noise, but the advantage is that there is always something to look at when you're chilling on the balcony. The interior is as expected, nice and well kept. The kitchen also has everything you need, even a dishwasher. Also with the amenities like the pool, jacuzzi, BBQ place and gym there is always something to do even on quiet days. All in all, I can whole-heartedly recommend this place.
The booking was good.
Both RoomChazer and my host helped the booking process run smoothly. Starting from the booking to the moving in, I was able to move in pretty fast and smoothly. My host made the process easy because she always remained in contact through the process and was always available to answer any questions that I had. The apartment was what I expected and had everything that was needed for me to stay for the time period that I did. The neighborhood is a pretty good and safe one and I never had any issues during my stay in the apartment. Also it is a plus that the location to so close to everything, which of course is a major plus!

My coach helped me with everything.
Overall, my experience with using RoomChazer has been amazing. I truly enjoyed my stay at the apartment I was placed. The amenities were great, including the dishwasher, washer, and dryer. The area was also great including being so close to public transportation it's outside the gate. The pool and gym were great to have and made the time spent in the summer amazing.
RoomChazer was so accommodating and helpful during my hectic move-in process. I will definitely be booking with them again next summer!
Chris was very helpful, she helped moving in, answered all me questions quickly when I lived in PB and helped moving out. The location is amazing, close to everything you'd want to be close to! The apartment it self is great too; spacious, light and the most comfortable couch ever! I would definitely recommend this place
Chris helped me a lot at the beginning finding the right place and the right roommates, she was there every time I needed. The move in was smooth and simple, the welcome warm and friendly. The place was as described and the roommates rapidly became friends. The location was the best, 3min by walk from the bay, 15min from the beach, dreamed location.
My stay in Pacific Beach was pleasant and was handled well. Great location that is close to everything.

Very nice rooming experience. The place is very nice, big living room, nice kitchen. Amazing localisation.
Everything with booking and moving in was quite easy and all questions were answered fast and good. The complex is nice with pools, jakuzi, tennis court, fitness etc. and the place is really great with several supermarkets, bars and food only a few minutes by foot.

I really enjoyed living here, great area and good roommates. Chris was very helpful with any issues and would highly recommend for the future.
RoomChazer made the process simple and easy. They were willing to work with me --transparency worked favorably on both ends. The property is beautiful and you won't regret it.
It was great! The neighborhood is nice because it's just a stone throw away from hotels, fast food and convenience store, the only downside is a lot of homeless people around the area not safe for me especially asian to roam around at night.
The first few months of our stay was very peaceful in AVA. I loved the location and how close it is to some of the well known places in downtown San Diego. The world famous Donut Bar is just 5 minutes away from the place as well as other prominent landmarks in San Diego.
Nice place In a great area close to everything you need. Had a great stay.

She was amazing
Superb and Excellent

Christine was great! She was super helpful as I had to find a spot to live for my rotation within weeks! I told her my situation as I needed to study for boards during this rotation and she found me the perfect quiet roommates.
I made some of the best friends living in PB through roomchazer. I got to experience San Diego for what it actually is despite the pandemic! High recommend!!
Nice roommates plus fast and easy process

Awesome communication with housing manager Chris. Amazing amenities. Great price. Thank you!
RoomChazer was incredibly helpful throughout every single detail of me being with them, from moving in to renewing and now moving out. I was very comfortable and relaxed with my stay and would one hundred percent recommend. I want to specifically thank Chris with all the aid she provided for me as well.
My experience was very pleasant. Nice Weather, Calm, Peacful. neighbors are extremely nice
As I was returning back to San Diego, California from Osaka, Japan due to an immediate international return order from the University of California in March 2020 due to the CoV-19 global pandemic, RoomChazers was there to provide me with immediate shelter at an affordable prize at it’s AVA Residential Unit in Downtown coordinated by Christine Olory (Chris). Since Downtown, San Diego is my “hometown” and the neighborhood in which lived for most of my life at a house with my Mexican family, whom I could not stay with anymore since they moved around the time that I moved to Japan too, it was relieving to know that I was able to spend more time in Downtown again. Staying at the AVA was satisfying. However, due to the CoV-19 pandemic regulations, I could tell right away that Downtown (my neighborhood) was not “its normal self.” Nevertheless, Chris still attempted to make the experience as lively as it could be. AVA Facilities, such as the gym and pool remained ongoing, with occasional adjustments and closures as they seem fit due to the county’s requests. Other useful resources included “in-building laundry units, Amazon Lockers, and first floor liquor store” “What kind of neighborhood is Downtown, San Diego?” Well, as it is the neighborhood in which I grew up, I can tell you that all the San Diego county public transportation Trolley’s (Green, Orange, and Blue Line) form a junction at 12th and Imperial and other stations in Downtown, where they then mitigate across other areas of San Diego and this includes the storage of MTS buses. 5th Avenue is the street in which all the primary clubs of Downtown are established for those who are interested in that style of nightlife in the Gaslamp Quarter. Next to Gaslamp also lays the famous Padres Stadium called Petco Park in which is dog friendly responsively and a reservoir for community events, such as the annual Festival of Science and Engineering, to the San Diego community in times of Baseball Off-Season. Seaport Village (SV) is where the San Diego Convention Center lays, where series of events (e.g. The Annual Comic Con) and political arrays (e.g. The Port of San Diego & general electoral voting) are held. SV also stores several restaurants and hotels that are high in tourism and excitement as one of San Diego’s fancy places to enjoy a calm walk with a love one or friends or even take a jog while you enjoy the port formed with the banks of the Pacific Ocean and by San Diego’s famous Coronado Bridge. Lastly, Downtown also has San Diego county’s tallest and most occupied buildings from local firms and home to several K-12 schools and San Diego City College. I hope you enjoy Downtown and other parts of San Diego County too.
Chris was super nice and helpful, and the room is great, better than a dorm. Careful though cause most of these rooms are booked and the site doesn't show a lot of the tenants.

It was sweat I enjoyed my stay
Great program! Enjoyed all of it.
RoomChazer has been an amazing company to rent through. I lived in 3 different places over a year (Pacific Beach Dr is by far my favorite) and Chris made all moves effortless and timely. The team is always willing to work with you on location, roommates, and much more. Pacific Beach Dr is the most interesting place I’ve lived. You are in the middle of this little beach city while still having a neighborhood vibe. Just be prepared for crazy weekend parking!
Room Chazer is an awesome platform for all ages and backgrounds to find affordable and accommodating housing. My housing advisor, Chris, made sure all my needs were met and made the entire experience simple, easy, and painless. I definitely recommend this place to any student or young professional that's new to the area and needs a place fast, it's extremely convenient!
Roomchazer provided me with a great room in a great location. Chris is awesome. She would come fix anything if it broke and was always really responsive.
I stayed in California for 1 year as a Visiting Scholar from Brazil and RoomChazer helped me so much! When I first got here, I had no place to stay for the year and another International student, a friend of mine, told me about them. We reached out to them and they were extremely caring and helpful. In one week I was moving in! I have also visited other RoomChazer apartments and they are all very beautiful, designed with a lot of care with amazing prices. I see RoomChazer as a very serious company that listens to you, try to help you with everything you need and always put your safety and comfort first, with them you won't have to worry about scams, disorganized and dirty places with old and bad furniture, they always make sure everything is organized, clean, with good furniture and that everything is working in the apartment (and if not, they'll send someone to fix it right away). RoomChazer also provides you the experience of having amazing roommates (they all became family to me) from all over the world, giving you the opportunity to learn about other cultures and to get to know amazing people. For anyone moving to San Diego, I highly recommend RoomChazer. If I ever come back here I will 100% stay with them again. I'm very grateful for the experience. Also very thankful for Christine for being so nice, understanding, helpful, and for always being available when we reach out to her. Thank you so much RoomChazer!

Booking and moving in went smoothly. The process was straight to the point! I’ve lived here for 2 years and all my requests were granted almost immediately. Tracking monthly payments was also easy with roomchazer. Very please with my experience :) All amenities here at AVA was enjoyable during my stay. Although the neighborhood can get a little bit noisy, I love the fun day-night life which was made possible by the convenient location of my stay here.
RoomChazer helped me get in and the neighborhood was as I expected, and roommates were wholesome. It was fun
RoomChazer is such an awesome company! They made moving in to downtown SD super easy, great communication all the way up to the founder of the company. Christine is super awesome and always helpful. I met the coolest friends while staying here. I know have contacts all over the world without even leaving San Diego.
I felt the room was in a great location. The trolley being right in the backyard was very useful as it allows you access to endless possibilities around the city. The housing was nice and spacious.
This was an absolutely amazing living experience! I lived with SDSH for over a year and I could not have been happier with my experience. Both apartments I lived in were clean and in amazing locations! The furniture was great to have and in working order. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would highly recommend using this service! Thank you SDSH!
RoomChazer made this summer easy, and assisted to all of my needs. They found me roommates I loved, and a place that fit all of my needs. All of my questions were answered quickly.
It was perfect with RoomChazer! The support was perfect from the beginning and the apartment was new, clean and had the perfect location 5 minutes away from the bay and 15 min from the beach by feet! I was able to extend spontaneously as long as it wasn’t already booked. Thank you for the time!
Moving in was a smooth and easy experience. Chris (the property manager) was very responsive whenever I had questions. Great location and I recommend it!
Excellent, seamless service and Chris is great. Highly recommed
Roomchazer was quick to respond to any issues, and my stay was overall a positive experience

SDSH helped me really well with booking the place and make the process of booking and moving-in go well. The apartment is new and clean and has everything you need. Since we were the first ones moving in here, some small utilities were missing but upon contacting SDSH they provided us with this quickly! Upon request, they provided me with essentials like a pillow and sheets for the bed before my arrival. The apartment has a great location, super close to the bay and beach and grocery stores. Also, you have a great view from the living room over PB Drive and the ocean in the distance. I would for sure recommend renting with SDSH and staying in this apartment!!
It was great! One of the greatest experiences I've had in a while with the meeting of new roommates to the discovery of the places around. I really enjoyed my stay at Alvarado. Thank you so mush for the opportunity.
I had such a great experience. moving-in was smooth; the room was clean and ready on time. The room is nice and the apartment is spacy. I liked the neghborhood, it is relatively quiet and safe. Also, I had great neighbors. I would recommend it for sure.
The roomchazer staff was there for me through every mishap that came my way while staying in this apartment. I couldn’t be more great full for their attentiveness.
The apartment and all the amenities provided with it are absolutely amazing. My apartment was freshly remodeled before I moved in and I even had a fireplace which was an amazing add-on. Everything looked exactly as presented on the website, very spacious and clean. The cleaning lady once a month is a nice bonus too so you don't have to deal with toilets and the stove grease. The gym and the pool/spa part also looked very appealing, always clean, and felt great to hang out in. Irvine complexes really do hold their standard in terms of the looks (palm trees, lighting, well-kept territory, etc.) The area in which the apartment is located is safe (is gated) and has some places like Starbucks, IKEA, IHOP, and etc right across the road. The only drawback that I've experienced while living here is the loud road with the fire station right by it, although I got used to it quickly. The other is that if you don't have a car there is really no way to entertain yourself in the area, you can however take a trolley which is down the road to take yourself downtown in a matter of 30 minutes.

It was a great place to stay and the roommates are always good
Everyone at RoomChazer was helpful during my time at Del Rio Apartments. I enjoyed the apartment and my roommates. It was close enough to Mesa College to make an easy commute to school.
I loved the location, my roommates, and the amenities provided through these services. Customer service and actual interaction was a 10/10. Definitely felt at home :)
SDSH worked great to get us situated for college life in SD. Recommend!
It really helped me a lot when it came to booking me and the moving was really fast. During my stay i also got some help when i needed some info i didn't know about my housing. The place was expected nice best and had lots of room space. It's a great neighborhood to live in it's a calm and nice place to live.
The whole process was smooth and transparent. The neighborhood is a great place to live in.

Everything was good. Roomchazer makes the process easier and simple.
The apartment is in a great location close to the beach and with countless places to eat. The move-in process was very smooth and overall my stay here was a great experience.
Great location, great apartment complex, and great cleaning service. We did not have any problems but the ones we did have were solved quickly and efficiently.
I stayed with Roomchazer and San Diego Student Housing for over year, and I honestly cannot complain and only give praise. When I moved in we already had amenities in place that other apartments wouldn't even have; I almost feel spoiled. The staff was and is always friendly, and they try to do their best by college students, interns, and regular tenants. They looked out for us and guided us, and this particular location is prime. I was within walking distance of everything, I wasn't far from the freeway, the beach was nearby, the weather was never brutal in our spot because of the suite orientation, the provided utilities were great, etc... I think this spot is great and the experience was awesome. Thank you everyone at SDSH and Roomchazer
I came to the US for four months and this apartment lived up to its promise. Comfortable and well equipped! The services like the gym and the pool are very nice. The team is very supportive and responds very quickly to our requests and finds solutions to our problems. I recommend 100%.
It was great experience! Chris is very helpful and patience, Thank you!
Roomchazer and my host were very helpful in making sure I was situated comfortably and that any problems were dealt with quickly and easily. Booking and moving in was a breeze as I was given step by step instruction on how the process would work. The neighborhood I was in was clean, safe, and in close proximity to any activity I could want.

It is a very nice apartment, which is equipped with everything you need. However, in case something is missing you can always contact SDSH. The furniture and kitchen utilities are all still new and clean. There is even a dishwasher available. The apartment complex is located in a save area in close proximity to the beach, grocery stores, bars and restaurant. There is also a swimming pool available. Overall, it is a really nice place and SDSH was always very helpful and supportive. My roommates were really great and they made staying at home during the corona situation much more fun.
My experience with Roomchazer was excellent! The place is great and well located, clean, spacious, modern and cool! The Roomchazer staff was extremely helpful and organized for my arrival in San Diego and stay. Time was short due to the current pandemic problem that forced me to return home. But I hope to return to the city and stay there again. Thank you for all the good service, help and consideration!
I have been with RoomChazer for almost a year. This student housing is very affordable and I had a great experience with it. I was going to continue on staying in the apartment but COVID-19 has changed my plans. My Landlord, Chris, was so kind and so understanding, it was sad for me to leave. the apartment was very comfortable for me, I was lucky to be roommates with a close friend.
Ava at Cortez Hill is a good choice when trying to find an affordable place to stay. It was nice having a pool and gym. The laundry rooms could be better but overall Ava is not too bad of a place to live.
Thank you. The room was well located and perfect for my first year at SDMC.
The moving in process was really smooth and they helped me with everything I needed. The room is what I was expecting and the neighbourhood is really nice and quiet. The Trolley station is about 5 minutes walking which made easy to go to SDSU and other places. From SDSU by walk is also quite close, about 20 or 30 minutes. In general, everything was really good!!
Roomchazer provided me with a great overall experience. Neighborhood and apartment were clean, safe, and nice to live in. Would absolutely recommend renting with them
Roomchazer made the experience of moving to a new city and starting a new school so easy. All of their forms, information and communication is easily accessible via the roomchaser app.
My housing advisor was extremely help throughout my entire experience at room chazer. They were always quick to respond to all of my needs and requests. The shared male room was as expected compared to the photos shown. This was my first time sharing a room with a fellow student and it was a needed experience during this time of my life. Downtown was a lively neighborhood and I always felt safe in my neighborhood.
RoomChazer was very helpful every step the way, my apartment looked just like the photos advertised on the site, my roommates were very kind and respectful, and I was very impressed with the immediate responses from my hosts.
Super easy booking process, no landlord hassles. I definitely recommend this website for students who are looking for an affordable place to stay. Our house was exactly as shown in the pictures.
I enjoyed living in student housing
RoomChazer made it easy to find housing in very convenient spots around San Diego.
It is very close to all the stores and beaches, perfect for in PB! Roomchazer was very helpful with booking and they respond very fast. The room is exactly the same as on the pictures.
RoomChazer and SDSH made moving into San Diego and finding a place to stay very easy and convenient! For an exchange student it was very helpful to have an advisor help me in the process, as I was unfamiliar with the city and different neighborhoods. The neighborhood is nice, very convenient to either drive or take the trolley.
RoomChazer/SDSH team has been very helpful for my booking. They are very reactive and professional. I have had many differents roomates over my journey and all of them matched perfectly. The neighborhood is very calm and at the same time active, as there are some diverse shops nearby, just in case. Location is ok but the trolley helps a lot, if you don't have a car. By car, trafic in SD is fine compared to LA. I would recommend living here.
All good Neighborhood sometimes noisy but neighbors very great
The place was not really what I expected. It was the same size as on the pictures, but a lot of small things were very dirty or not good working... At the end, everything was fixed very fast and I loved to live here. The location is the best: shops and the beach are very close. The cleaning women and all the people were always very kind and helped us good if we needed help. Thank you for that!
My experience with RoomChazer was absolutely incredible! The house and location were very good, my roommates were awesome and all the staff were always super nice and helped me out with all my needs! Thank you so much!
It went smoothly! Nice neighborhood

Was great. Mission valley is a great location. Trolley nearby.
I come from France and roomchazer was really helpful to organize my stay ! Really clear and easy to communicate with the people who work there ! Everything went well and I got no problem at all. I don’t have a car so the fact that the trolley stops in front of the place was really helpful to go to university. Everything went well with my roomates, roomchazer found a good match !
SDSH offers great locations in the San Diego area for students and interns. They really try to do a great job of matching roommates and provide an affordable living space. Thank you SDSH!

Booking, Moving-in and also living here went off very smoothly. Never had big issues. The apartment was as expected and as seen in the pictures. Big enough and still affordable pricing. The location is aswell the best place to be in San Diego. Everything you need to live is near by. Great Neighborhood. Highly recommended!
They were really nice and helpful!

Our host did a great job and helped me all the way and answered any questions within a reasonable time limit.
The neighborhood was reallynice. Awesome neighbours. The room was really big and everything was fine just a little dark.

The move in was very easy. Had a great time. The location was exactly what I wanted.
Nice place in a good location. The things I would have liked to know are: 1) If you bring a guest for more than 6 days, you have to pay an extra $15/day past that 2) Wifi is not very strong and a bit patchy [streaming is slow] That's it! I would recommend this place for anyone in need of a short term lease.

My host sent emails regarding the move-in process. I lived in the SDSU neighborhood and it was rather quiet for the most part with a few disruptive neighbors here and there.
Overall experience was mixed. Overall a beautiful apartment, but there were a few issues during the stay.

It's been a great experience and Tawni has been easy to communicate with.

I think my Stay at Del Rio was great. Our contact-person at SDSH, Tawni, have been very helpfull.
Everything went very smoothly from the first step of finding the place to the step of moving out. It was a great place to live!
Roomchazer allowed me to book this apartment without any hassle or problems. Everything went perfectly well thanks to the friendly staff's reactivity in case of any problem. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and literally a few meters from Pacific Beach's nightlife. Also very close to the beach which is very convenient as a surfer. I would book here again if I had to come again.
I loved it, awesome complex with great amenities that’s in a great area everything is close by. Friendly and fun people.
I had a great experience with RoomChazer, they are all super helpful every time I had a problem. Nothing but my warmest recommendations.
It was an easy process from booking to moving-in.
my host was very helpful and she guided me pretty good in order to have a smooth move in the apartment. the room was pretty good and it had all the necessary utensils and facilities.
Great use of the space! Very large apartment that I was happy with, even when all the roommates were home we all had enough space to work on our homework without disrupting each other. The use of labels throughout the apartment help keep things organized between roommates. I appreciate the large pool and spa area with free WiFi. I also appreciate the 24 gym. No need to go far for food! There is a Costco, Ikea with food courts close, along with a strip mall full of a variety of food. The transportation via trolly is nice and close to SDSU, Mesa, and SDU!

Everything was good, very easy to move-in and move out. The SDSH team is helpful Don't hesitate to come in this flat, very near from the beach and everything

SDSH team is very responsive. Easy move-in, and reliable.

Booking and move-in was easy. The unit was clean, but old. Roommate matching did not seem to work. SDSH is very responsive.

Roomchazer helped me find a place to stay in short-notice. The location is in Down Town, which is convenient, but it is also very loud, which I guess is to be expected.

The apartment complex is nice. It is close to the trolley station, convenient in some way. You can get help from the leasing center if needed. The complex is protected by combination gates, so it is safe.
The website is very confusing, so I always had a hard time figuring out where to log in, so payment was complicated.
The apartment itself was very nice and spacious. The area was also just as nice; there were more homeless people around and street racers than I expected there to be. Beyond that, moving-in was a hassle and very stressful. I did not have contact with my roommates prior, so I had no idea how to get inside the complex especially since I flew in on a flight later in the day. Also, I did not receive a parking pass in my envelope of items that was supposed to be provided meaning I had to buy and get one myself.
It’s very nice I just had personal issues back home I had to attend. I would recommend this apt complex to anyone it’s great location and perfect environment

Everything went fairly smoothly and transition was good.
The staff was very helpful getting a room booked for me on a short time frame. The apartment is in the heart of PB, right next to everything that is going on.
I really enjoyed the experience here. Everything was great, the apartment was good and clean, the roommates were great people, and always I needed something, the SDSH team was ready to help. To sum up, I recommend this for sure. :)
Locations for housing are in convenient areas. Management is great!

SDSH was very helpful and flexible in arranging our housing so that I can stay with my colleague in a room all summer. They are pretty responsive to emails and pay attention to the details mentioned in the emails. The apartment complex is equipped with a pool, free 24-hour gym, a hot tub, and a helpful leasing office. I feel well taken care of from many perspectives. However, the lack of information transparency is a big downside. For example, we have to receive our packages through forwarded emails sent from the leasing center to SDSH, and we lost two Amazon packages somehow. Also, the clean-up process did not happen one day after our arrival, which also means we did not have the keys when we first arrived but let in by our roommate. And we cannot control how much utility we use but are left with a utility bill at the end. The stay could be more pleasant if we had more information
The appartment is okay and close to the shops.
Pretty good so far, the pool and gym is great c:

My housing advisor was incredibly flexible, and helped match me with a place that fit my needs and my budget! It was difficult to know what to expect from the room at first, because few photos were available on the website (my one complaint), but those fears dissolved once I saw the place for myself. If you plan to stay here during the Summer, be wary that construction on the parking lot is common, often leading us to park up to half a mile away. The air conditioner is also virtually non-functional, so it can get as warm as 86 indoors during the day. With that said, the space is clean, cozy, and spacious.

The furnished apartment made the stay comfortable

The moving-in process was really smooth and everyone helped out to ensure that I was comfortable with the apartments and knew everything that I would need to know. I have enjoyed my time at the apartments and will continue to live here, just in a different room.

apparently, my account has a bug in it, so it was difficult to pay my rent on time starting with my summer lease. even this form says I moved out May 31st when I had an extended lease until August 15th.
Move in was easy and place was clean and well-kept.
I started using Roomchazer when it was first implemented, and it honestly was not that great and was kinda confusing (my login only worked from one place) but I think it’s improved. There was some problems with the apartment when I moved in (the tv didn’t work, dryer had some problem, dish washer didn’t work, internet was 2mbps download/upload) but all of those were fixed very fast and I don’t blame the host because the previous roommates didn’t report these issues. Tawni was a great help with any issues I had. The apartments were extremely clean and nice and Del Rio is a great and clean complex. I don’t have any complaints about the service or the apartments at all. They really do provide you everything you need to start and help you out with anything you may need (within reason). Randy the cleaning lady is great and does a great job too.
Very accommodating and a very fast and easy process to move in.
My experience here was good and RoomChazers has helped a lot.
The website system is good and was easy to me to book the apartament, do the payments and etc.
The location was very convenient. Randi was very helpful in the upkeep of our unit. & I was able to find compatible roommates.

It was a really good experience!

Neighborhood is fine and convenient. Place is very luxurious.
I enjoyed my stay here as the apartment was a short walking distance from the beach. Location is good.

Great location, host was very responsive on issues

Move in and booking was fast and easy. I did not need to search too hard.
Room Chazer was good. Everything was as I expected.
It was good

They were pretty helpful with moving in and answering questions. I had lots of questions and they were responsive and understood my concerns. The intial process was very confusing and the timing didn’t make any sense at first (get 48 hours to fill an application, and then the office was closed for the whole weekend so I couldn’t ask any questions or do anything). The place was as expected. The place was roomy and spacious. The amenities in the apartment complex were very nice. The common area and the dishes/kitchen stuff was a lot dirtier and older than expected. I reached out and they had replaced some kitchen stuff, but the living area was still not super clean
SDSH is an amazing company to do business with. However, I would not recommend staying at Del Rio. First, ~$900 a month is too expensive for a shared room. You essentially pay a premium for the pool, but one of the two pools has been broken for the entirety of my 6 month stay. Second, the traffic is so noisy that it is impossible to effectively sleep and study. For instance, when I wear my Bose QC35 noise canceling headphones while doing homework, I can still hear traffic outside even with the windows closed. There is a group of people who rev their modified street racing cars which makes the complex sound like a racetrack. “Security” is a joke and clearly pays them no mind. Third, if you own a car you will have to pay a $25 per month parking fee on top of your rent. However, you will pay this and rarely have a parking spot near your unit. I always take my skateboard with me to ride to my car... that should give you an idea of how far you will have to walk. I believe that if you are forced to pay for parking you should be given an assigned spot, but this is not the case at Del Rio. Lastly, there is no grocery shopping within walking distance. There is a Costco nearby, but you will not have enough space in the cupboards and refrigerator to be storing bulk food. The pros: -Having a washer and dryer in unit is a real luxury although this is 2019 not 1919. -The internet is ridiculously fast. -The trolley runs right to the edge of the complex which is a nice way to ensure you won’t be tempted to drink and drive after enjoying the Gaslamp district. Plus, it’s cheaper than ride-sharing.

I stayed in a very nice room this whole year, I couldn't have a better place!
The apartment and the room match the description. However, the street noise is really loud.
RoomChazer was easy to use and allowed me to easily find and book a room. The room was as expected and was in a good, clean and quiet neighborhood.
RoomChazer was very easy to follow and the staff made it even more exceptional, as they were quick to reply to emails/texts and were very helpful on any questions/concerns. They were also very accommodating, as I had a late payment for my first payment due to confusion, and they were willing to allow me time to pay it.

The place is nice and the services provided are good, with the exception of roomates, there can be some real stinkers like with anywhere, and if roommates do not wish to cooperate over something like parking or keeping the kitchen clean to a degree it can become very problematic, structure or expectations going in, or decisions being made ahead of time should a conflict arise should exist. Otherwise very nice

The place was expected.

The booking and moving-in were very easy. SDSH helped whenever there was a problem. The place was great and well equipped, and the neighborhood was safe and quiet, but also close to the bars and restaurants. I never met anyone else on the building, but my roommates were excellent. Overall, I had an amazing experience, and the place I lived in was a big part of it.

Overall, it was a good experience staying at AVA Cortez Hill through San Diego Student Housing. The room was as expected and fairly clean. Great roommates and SDSH was always quick to respond to any questions or problems we had.

I totally love this place. My roommates were all absolutely amazing and felt here entire time almost like at home.
Good

The place is very nice and my roommates were adorable.

Great neighbourhood, friendly staff. Clean appartement.

Everything was perfect! My roommates were clean, as well as the place itself. I could get a well rest each night. My host was very supportive. I would definitely move in again!

The housing listing images were not the same as how the house actually looked. Nonetheless, it was a good area to live in with decent housemates. The workers at this company are very active and kind in fixing problems. I believe my stay here could’ve been better with choosing the right location. Images for all house listings should be updated as well.

The apartment was in a nice area and it was very easy to get the apartment. I did however think that the students before us left the apartment in terrible shape before I moved in so that was not fun dealing with.
RoomChazer helped me find a apartment real fast and my host was really nice and made everything easy. The room was expected clean and nice. It a good neighborhood to stay in and the people are very friendly and also theirs stores across the street.

RoomChazer made everything really simple and easy. They gave me very helpful instructions and the room and area were as expected.
Very nice and easy move in process. Housemates were nice, easy to get along with and had no problems.

Everything was great. I appreciated the cleaning service people.

I loved my stay! Great roommates & location!

Well done and professional, would stay with them again.

RoomChazer is an easy and useful platform ! Del Rio Apartment is wonderful, especially thanks to the utilities as the pool, hot tub and gym, the staff and the proximity of the trolley. SDSH is a great company always there to help whenever there is a problem.

RoomChazer helped me find a place to stay while going to college. Location is also in a really nice area, close to everything. Monthly cleaning is provided, which helps keep the place clean.
Nice appartement and helpful host.

Booking the room on this website was simple and easy. Minor glitches with repetitive emails, but other than that overall good experience!

Roomchazer help me finding a good places for this year by offer various locations for students. It is really to use, to do the moving in too.

Student housing was really helpful when I first try to find a place in San Diego. I was in France and had no idea of how to do and they kept providing advices about apartments and other points. The apartment in Mission Valley was as expected and was really nice. The complex has a pool, jacuzzi and gym which was really nice to have too.
Overall, very satisfied. Sharing a unit has pros and cons, but we have sorted it out well. I primarily paid for the location, which I am delighted with.
