Overall: Chris and Rachel were very understanding although communication could be better with students about work scheduled to be done. There was an issue while I was moving in and Rachel got back to me quickly despite being a Saturday. The cleaning staff that comes monthly are great and always friendly. Living with strangers is definitely not easy and you really have to be prepared to deal with anything and everything. Some of the roommates made living there a miserable experience
Pros: It's close to the trolley and bus lines as well as Balboa Park. There's a gym downstairs it's simple but gets the job done. The pool and jacuzzi are big
Cons: The building has a cockroach and rat problem, especially with the lower floors that have not been renovated yet. One or two of the elevators would frequently not work. Major work had to be done to the unit and there was a lack of communication from management. The door was put back incorrectly and they never put the toilet paper handle back

Overall: Booking the place was pretty easy, thanks to the Chris, I was able to move in earlier. She was very helpful and explained me everything clearly. Also, l liked the fact that you can book the place for shorter period of time (one month) and then extend your contract. As for the dealbreakers, cockroaches were a big issue throughout the stay.
Pros: Location was very convenient for me and the price was good as for the place in downtown.
Cons: Housing advisor could be more responsive in terms of fixing issues (we had a wardrobe door standing on our balcony through the whole summer, waiting for it to be fixed). Additionally, we weren’t always notified about someone moving in or out.
