Overall: The quality of the accommodation is entirely satisfactory; however, the management of relationships between roommates could be improved. The common areas of the residence are excellent.
Pros: It's quite spacious.
Cons: The quality of the sheets and pillows is poor.

Overall: As a student, I find RoomChazer's concept to be practical. You don't live alone, yet you retain your independence. I also think it’s a valuable experience for becoming more self-reliant. However, my overall experience has been negative. I had major issues with my roommate—problems that were never resolved. I felt completely let down by the manager in charge. I repeatedly expressed my distress (including suffering anxiety attacks) and highlighted the tensions with my roommate, but no serious measures were ever implemented. I was insulted and threatened on several occasions, yet this didn't seem to shock anyone. Ultimately, my roommate was flagged—as was I—for "poor communication," despite the fact that she had violated at least four other rules, such as those regarding poor hygiene (causing odors), general cleanliness, sexual activity on the premises, and so on. This entire ordeal largely ruined my experience. I had expected RoomChazer to take much more decisive action.
Pros: I appreciated the residence's facilities: the swimming pool, gym, etc.
Cons: I think that cleaning could be done at least twice a month, rather than just once. I would also improve the level of attention given to roommates when conflicts arise. Based on my own experience, I would have liked for actions—such as filing a formal report—to have been taken more quickly and handled more effectively. This applies particularly to the situation where I was repeatedly insulted and threatened by my roommate, who violated four or five of the house rules. Ultimately, she was formally reported for only a single rule violation—and the least serious one at that. Yet, throughout this ordeal, I demonstrated a great deal of patience and understanding.
